"We stayed in Villa C and it was fantastic. Very spacious rooms and a fantastic semi outdoor private onsen bath and shower. Lots of amenities provided to take as needed. We didn’t see any people at all at the property. The beds were big and soft. You do hear a lot of trains, however we used the supplied ear plugs and slept fine. Paid parking on the property. "I only booked a room for one night but Hotel de Yama was a great place to stay. It's a short hike away from the Motohakone stop, and if you choose to walk it you will need to walk on the road. Cars in the area seem to be used to this though so as long as you're on the shoulders you will be OK. Otherwise, they provide a free shuttle bus that picks up directly in front of the 7-Eleven by the bus station The hotel itself is quite close to the torii gate, which is nice. I didn't get a chance to use the public bath, but the Japanese style breakfast in their restaurant was really nice and delicious. Due to my short stay I also didn't get a chance to explore the large garden area, but it seems very well kept by the staff, from what I saw from my room window."
