Lillypads Cottages make the very best of the tropical rainforest setting, featuring two Cottages that are set harmoniously within the vivid green rainforest. Couched between the Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef and only minutes to the quaint village of Mission Beach situated on the beach overlooking Dunk and Bedarra Islands. The Cottage's overlook the lily lagoon and gardens with views to the mountain range. The lagoon and gardens are designed to attract the splendid rainforest creatures. These 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom luxury rainforest Cottages offer open plan living - kitchen area opening onto screened indoor - outdoor verandas. You can sit and gaze over the lily lagoon from the front verandah or you can relax in your spa tub on the back verandah and gaze in to the rainforest. Bliss....... The kitchen has it all for the Home Chef including herbs, oils, vinegars etc plus farm fresh eggs and tropical seasonal fruits (when available) - cooking will be a pleasure not a chore. For the occasional days or nights when the cool breezes from the rainforest are not gently wafting through the cottage there is the option of air-conditioning. For those who like to lay beside the pool Lillypad's pool area is ideal. There are semi-shaded decks for each chalet adjoining a cool deep 11 meter saltwater pool set into the lagoon. Lillypads is pure indulgence for couples, families or the perfect tropical honeymoon. Sunshine or rain Lillypads will release your stress. Mission Beach is a great location for your holiday. The quaint shopping village of Mission Beach offers a selection of cafes, restaurants, bars. There is also a great fruit and vegetable store, mini mart and specialty food store/bakery. It is great fun strolling around the village shops and galleries. The first and third Sunday of each month there are markets in the Ulysses park at Mission Beach. The Monster Markets are Last Sunday of month from Easter Sunday to November. During the stinger months (November to May) there is a stinger enclosure at Mission Beach. The new swimming pool is located at Mission Beach including a hydrotherapy pool. The “Dunk and Splash” water play pad is on the foreshore of Wongaling Beach. Woolworths Supermarket is just a 5 - 10 min drive from Mission Beach village. It is located at Wongaling Beach. Mission Beach shopping village and the beach is just a few minutes drive or a 10 to 15 minute walk from Lillypads Cottages. Or we can arrange push bike hire. A great way to travel around Mission Beach.
