Magnificent house host garden and location. The property has every thing you need and is beautifully clean. Loved the wine eggs and chocolates. We visit every year for our weekend away.

Beautiful cottage

This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend with our family of five. Beautifully renovated with all the extras, immaculate garden and close to the village of Mittagong. We'll definitely be back!

Great place and location

The house was fabulous with a lovely garden, cosy lounge room and comfortable beds. The location is perfect with most things accessible without driving: we rode to the Welby mountain bike trails, walked to Lake Alexandra, went on a hike from the house, walked to cafes, restaurants and the pub. We only drove to go to the bakery and the Mittagong mushroom tunnels. The train station is in walking distance too. Everything was well organised and easy. Adam and Nat we'll be back.

Wonderful stay in exceptional location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was wonderfully set up, with a beautiful yard. Easy walk to local cafes and down to the lake/playground. Would highly recommend!

Weekend away

The cottage was all that and more. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious. The lounge area was very cosy with the gas heather and our party of four were able to stretch out comfortably on the couch. The kitchen had all the utensils and tools for cooking. The hosts were very generous in supplying a couple of very thoughtful arrival items including a small birthday cake. We loved it and would definitely look to book again.

A lovely place to stay, very clean, welcoming and homely, loved the organic fresh eggs left. Nice and close to shops but plenty of privacy. Would love to stay again if we're ever back in the area.

Brilliant property

We were wowed from the moment we arrived. The rooms and house are much bigger and brighter the photos suggest, the kitchen and bathrooms have been beautifully renovated, thoughtful luxury finishes like underfloor heating and bonus books and games for all ages. We would have loved to stay longer.

Highlands Getaway

Ponsonby is a delightful cottage in a great location in Mittagong. Walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops. It is very spacious and well appointed with some generous kitchen and bathroom supplies to get you started. Lovely garden to enjoy. Very comfortable for 6 adults and an infant.

This place was the absolute cutest, most comfy location we stayed in during our journey down under. We traveled from the states to attend the wedding of a childhood friend at the book barn. Great location, old world charm

My girlfriends and I (five women in total) had a very enjoyable stay. Although the weather was wet and drizzly and we could not make use of the beautiful gardens we enjoyed our time at the house. The bedrooms, bathrooms and all amenities, linen, towels etc are top quality, overall very clean uncomfortable.
