"The room decor was very nice with music note carpeting as an homage to “The Sound of Music”. The reviews said walkable from train station but it was a fair distance and not too straightforward. We managed but just be aware. We felt we received great value for the price and front staff were lovely and accommodating. "

"Excellent stay overall. The hotel is a short (maybe 5 min.) walk from the rail way station. Spacious room, very comfortable bed, very clean premises, great service. I was pleasantly surprised that the local tax due at check-in includes a complimentary local transportation pass for each person, which came very handy throughout our stay. There is a construction going on across the street (July 2025) - that's outside of the hotel's control, but our room had the not-so-great construction view. "

"Allowed us to check in at 1pm (4 hours early) as our room was ready. Receptionist was very nice. Our stay included a free transport pass which allowed us to use local buses for free over 2 days (for a 1 night stay). Hotel is ideally located across road from railway station. "

"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who will visit Salzburg and its nearby attractions; mainly because it is so accessible via public transportation - a bus top just outside the hotel where you can take #21 bus directly to city center (23 minutes ride). The hotel is modern, room space is adequate, and beds are comfy, staffs are helpful and courteous. An added bonus is a McDonald right next door. I will definitely stay here again in the future "
