"The charm of the hotel architecturally is its strong suit and being close and walkable to downtown - unfortunately that’s where the positive review ends. The elevator was not working and it was a tough walking to the second floor - was staying 5 nights and a first floor room was never available. The room was clean but the bathroom a wreak - no toilet paper holder - it looked as if it had been ripped from wall - no place to hang towels and the plastic shower curtain kept falling down as the spring rod seemed gone. The heat and air was temperamental. No refrigeration so had to keep filling my cooler with ice. And this was not hotels fault but the building of the new civic center directly across the street meant every morning at 630am construction noise even on SAT. "

"No parking available at hotel. Every parking space was filled outside hotel. Only able to stay 1 of 3 nights, and checked out early. Hotel said that they would contact Expedia so that I could get a refund for the 2 days not used, but haven't heard anything yet."

"Nice area close to the cruise port & restaurants. The garage was a bit confusing, and the black lady checking us in was in a hurry - she took the time to explain to the couple in front of us but could not even tell us where the elevator was….maybe she had to go to the restroom SMH! The room was nice & facing the riverfront. Will stay here again. "

"If you are looking for a place that’s convenient to downtown and care about nothing else then this is the place for you. Run down, no tv because those don’t work anymore… people were nice enough, bed was comfortable enough just don’t expect anything and you will be fine."

"Had to pay extra $q12 for parking which was a bit of a surprise but not a huge deal. Overall was a great location and we enjoyed our stay. "
