"Spectacular setting in a lush forest on a bluff with views of and steps down to the beach. Spacious rooms with balconies. Well equipped kitchenette. Pet friendly. Spa and heated pool and sauna across the road — no bathrooms, changing room or water alas during an extended repair or remodel, and wish it had been open an hour later than 9pm. A very nice, albeit pricey, fine dining restaurant on premises. Despite the drawbacks, it exceeded our expectations."

"We had a memorable weekend with five adults and one dog. We were worried about one bathroom, but it worked out great. The house is the perfect location on the beach and is nice and quiet. The only hiccup we ran into was that the igniter did not work on the grill. We left a lighter behind for the next guests. Great time was had by all. We will be back."

"The rental was beautifully updated w/generous supply of kitchen and bathroom needs. Very easy, short trail to the beach. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. Quiet area day and night. The rental was comfortable for us and our dog. Moclips grocery store just around the corner provides all your needs with specialty coffees, groceries, food to go and also beach towels/toys/kites, etc. Cars are allowed on this beach year round, so packing your car for the beach vs carrying it all is nice. Beach front view is the best!!!"

"Pros --Awesome location: The master bedroom has a sliding door opening toward the ocean so you can sleep with it open all night. --Great host: Communication was on point, positive, and timely. --Master shower: Features two shower heads, which is an awesome upgrade. --Hot tub: Very clean and worked perfectly. Cons --Kitchen equipment: The oven wouldn't heat past 360°, the knives were dull with no sharpener, and some of the non-stick pans were flaking too badly to be safely used. --Hot water capacity: The house sleeps eight, but the standard water heater runs out after three showers. It really needs a tankless upgrade. --Overgrown beach path: You can't walk barefoot to the beach. You have to wear shoes to navigate through sticker and blackberry bushes, which really need to be trimmed. --Hot tub instructions: Worded poorly and hard to understand. Here is a suggestion on how to fix it: "The water must be crystal clear and have a noticeable chlorine odor. If it is cloudy or lacks a chlorine smell, do not get in." Other Things to Know --Stove: Natural gas. Love this! --Laundry: Features a basic, older-style stackable washer and dryer. Dryer worked well. --Parking: The garage will fit a car or small SUV. Space to park outside works well. --Extras: There is a foosball table downstairs, alongside another couch and TV."
