Smashing property, friendly hosts, great facilities
Nothing negative to say about the property whatsoever. Our stay was fantastic - smashing facilities especially for the youngsters. Add to this the friendly and efficient hosts who were great communicators. All in all - marvellous.

Family holiday in France
The old farmhouse is a beautiful property in a beautiful location and we would definitely recommend it to others. It is very well located for exploring the south of Brittany and there many interesting and beautiful places a short drive away. The house itself has everything you need and we loved having an en-suite bathroom for every bedroom. The garden is large and sunny and the pool and hot tub are a real draw. We would love to stay there again. Gina and Steve are very welcoming and can’t do enough to help you make the most of your holiday. Thank you!

Great multi family holiday
Thank you for a wonderful stay at the old farmhouse. We were four families with seven children under seven and found the house size and space perfect for our needs. Phil and Jenny gave us some great tips for outings which all worked really well, the lake and bouncy castle park, Kingoland and Josselin were all great and we sat tripped to Carnac also. The house and kitchen are well equipped and there was plenty of space for the children to play inside and out, the games room went down very well. The staircases are quite steep but the children managed them fine after instruction (we didn’t have tiny toddlers with us). The pool was a bit chilly but did improve as the weather warmed up. Jenny’s massages were a wonderful addition. We had an amazing holiday and the property worked really well for us. Thank you

Great property, great location, it all we needed for the 6 couples that went. Loved it all.
The Old Farmhouse is a truly lovely place to spend a holiday. There were 12 of us from Kent, none of us young, but we all thoroughly enjoyed the house and its facilities such as all 6 en Suite bedrooms, lovely dining area and bar, lounge, and kitchen. The WiFi and games area are also lovely. The pool though chilly was clean and needed as was the hot tub. The Brittany area is worth visiting, a great landscape. Finally, we have to mention the owners, Phil and Jenny, a really lovely couple. They were always on hand if needed, cleaned the pool etc daily, friendly, chatty , offered advice and even joined us one evening. A hearty big thank you to them, they have a truly lovely place.

Good accommodation and facilities for a party of 15 (9 adults and 6 children)
We had a lovely holiday at The Old Farmhouse. The layout of the house works well for multiple families and there is plenty of space to play outside and inside with the games room, bar area, gardens and paddocks. The house is well equipped- we found it easy to eat in and enjoyed making use of the BBQ when the weather allowed! Unfortunately the very British weather meant the pool was very cold and with children ranging from 18 months to 6 years old we didn’t manage to use it as much as we would like. The adults made good use of the hot tub but were a little confused about whether the kids could use it as it said no under 14s but in the guest book others had referenced children using it. Finally the WiFi was poor- I think this could be marketed more clearly as it states WiFi but in today’s world where the children and adults rely on it, it would be good to have full access to the internet rather than just in the games room which wasn’t always practical. As I’ve mentioned this could just be made clearer upon booking. All in all a nice property that might benefit from pool heating and WiFi to encourage future visits.

A well equipped house with lots to offer
We were three families (6 adults) and currently have a total of 4 small children. The house in rural Brittany around a 5-minute drive to Mohon and about a 20-minute drive to the nearest ‘larger’ town. There is a near neighbor across the fence from the pool. The house is very large & the six rooms are split into three lots of two. This meant our small children could be far enough away from each other not to wake each other, and also gave us our own space. The communal spaces were very large, certainly for a party of our size, and could easily accommodate a few more. The house and garden are both very well equipped. We cooked and ate nearly all our meals in the house and didn’t come across anything we could have done with or had missed from home. The house is in good order, the beds are comfortable and the lounge, games room and bar are all great. Notes of caution Firstly, on arrival we were asked for £300 security deposit – this is to be expected from a holiday let, but it would have been helpful to have this clearer on the website or to have been reminded as part of the booking process. There is no ‘damages policy’ and so we were left unsure what would count as reasonable wear and tear and what might be charged for. Secondly, we had issues with the hot tub, despite its size only four people can use it at once for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time. Whilst we don’t own one ourselves, I’m assured this is unusual. Ideas of spending long evenings drinking cocktails in the hot tub were short lived. Having misunderstood the guidance on the first night, we felt sufficiently ‘warned’ by Jenny and Phil over the next couple of days that we stopped using it, feeling the joy had been slightly sucked from the experience. Thirdly it’s worth noting that the pool is lined rather than tiled and not heated and so it can be very cold. We visited in August and although we had some bad weather its temperature, even on hot sunny days, meant we rarely used the pool. Finally, don’t underestimate the impact of having Jenny and Phil on site. Whilst they were nice and did largely keep out the way, they would clean the pool and hot tub themselves, usually between 9 and 10 am. We all agreed that we felt like we had ‘mum and dad’ living next door, and were, perhaps, less able to let our hair down than we would have liked. We had a lovely time in this house and it does have a lot to offer, so provided you’re careful with the things above it makes a good destination.

Thank you for your review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay despite the unseasonal weather. We would like to highlight that we did drive to Ploermel so the first arrivals of your party could follow us to the supermarket to pick up supplies on the Sunday, we also supplied some wine, beer and milk on the first day as they had no provisions. As advertised we have solar pods on the swimming pool which require warmth through the sun to heat the water. The security deposit is a normal requirement and unlike most holiday lets we don't charge for crockery or glass breakages which we would have explained to you had you asked. You will note that we did transfer your full deposit back within 1 day of you leaving. We give a full set of written instructions and during the walk round talk through do's and dont's regarding the hot tub, including the effect of wearing make up, body oils, fake tan and sun tan lotion/creams which we did to one of your party who said he would talk everyone through it. Any problems can be easily avoided by having a quick shower before using it. Our hot tub is built for 4 people having 4 purpose built seats in it. Wherever you use a hot tub the time recommended by the manufacturers is 20-30 minutes to prevent any dizziness when you get out. We set high standards of cleanliness for the pool and hot tub which is why we clean them both daily ensuring the water quality and cleanliness in both. This normally takes a maximum of 15-20 minutes however if as in your groups case, oils or creams or make up products are still worn in the tub this leaves a nasty brown oily residue as we showed you, we then have to spend far longer cleaning it and improving the water quality again. I am sure you realise that dirty water breeds bacteria. However we did note that after we got the water back your party used the hot tub with no further issues. You will see that most of our guests give us 4 or 5 stars and feel your mark of 3 stars is totally misleading and unwarranted.

Fabulous house
Fabulous house, clean and very well equipped. Games room great with young guests, weather lovely when we stayed so full use was made of the hot tub, unfortunately pool still a little cold although there were a few dips in it. Toddlers well catered for with little cars and trike its a great house to stay in with a group, only prob was that it is not near restaurants but there were 14 of us so able to entertain ourselves with a bbq, full use of the bar which has wine/beer fridges and also pool table. The bonus was each room has it's own bathroom a real plus. Couldn't recommend highly enough and hope to make a return visit sometime.

Le gîte est très spacieux et très agréable, chaque chambre est doté d’une douche et d’un WC. Il y a des activités pour tout le monde ( billard, échiquier, jeux divers pour les enfants. Le jacuzzi est agréable malgré le froid. L’accueil par les propriétaires est sympathique.

Een meer dan geslaagd verblijf met kinderen en kleinkinderen
De ganse familie heeft ervan genoten. Het huis heeft vele mogelijkheden zowel binnen als buiten. Erg behulpzame eigenaars: bij melding van het ontbreken van een geschikte bakpan werden er 2 dagen later 2 nieuwe gebracht. De bedden zijn aan vervanging toe. In onze badkamer was er geen legplank ook niet in de douche. De speelkamer is een groot pluspunt voor de jongeren.

Excellent séjour : de grandes tables pour nos jeux de société, une piscine, un spa et une salle de jeux pour les jeunes 👍 Le maison est très bien équipée, il y a même un appareil à raclette :) En cas de petits soucis, les propriétaires sont très réactifs. Pour le reste calme et verdure étaient au rendez-vous.

Nous nous sommes réunis en famille pour l'anniversaire de notre fille et nous ne regrettons pas ! Chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain/toilettes et c'est très agréable pour l'intimité de chacun. Les enfants ont adoré la salle de jeu et les jeux extérieurs, et sont allés se balader en vélo plusieurs fois : les routes environnantes sont peu fréquentées donc assez sûres. Vraiment nous avons tous passés un séjour dont nous nous souviendrons et notons l'adresse pour y revenir avec des amis !

Un week-end de rêve
Après 2 ans à subir les conséquences du covid, Agathe et moi désespérions de pouvoir célébrer nos anniversaires (26 ans). Cette année, enfin l'opportunité de pouvoir rassembler tous nos ami.es venant de Savoie, du Sud, du Nord, de Paris et nos ami.es moins éloignés de l'Ouest dans un endroit que nous avons adoré à l'unanimité : beaucoup d'espace, chaque chambre a sa salle de bain et ses toilettes ce qui facilite clairement la vie collective ! Le style est très personnalisé et atypique, on se sent chez soi et on adore l'ambiance chaleureuse que ça créer. On a déjà envie de revenir. Steve nous a accueilli avec une très grande sympathie, j'espère qu'il acceptera de nous accueillir à nouveau !

Superbe séjours de Noël/Fantastic Christmas Time with our family.
- Propriétaires chaleureux et prêt à nous aider, nous conseiller, adapter nos heures d'arrivée/départ; nous les remercions. - Location très spacieuse pour nous 13; les chambres avec salle de bain privative sont appréciables. - La salle de jeux très bien équipée pour les adolescents est un plus. Le sPA à l'extérieur fût apprécié. - L'apéritif, le repos ou des jeux de sociétés devant un feu de cheminée sont des moments inoubliables. - Tout est parfait et nous recommandons ce gîte à un prix raisonnable, à toutes les familles qui veulent se regrouper pour un évènement. - Warm owners and ready to help us, advise us, adapt our arrival/departure times; we thank them. - Very spacious rental for the 13 of us; the bedrooms with private bathroom are appreciable. The very well equipped games room for teenagers is a plus. And the outside SPA has been appreciated. - Aperitif, rest or board games in front of a fireplace are unforgettable moments. - Everything is perfect and we recommend this cottage at a reasonable price, to all families who want to get together for an event.

Vaste demeure
Week-end en famille sur 3 générations qui s'est très bien déroulé. Nous avons apprécié la grandeur des lieux et la diversité des espaces pour pouvoir se réunir tous ensemble ou s'isoler en petits groupes. Douches et WC pour chaque chambre est un +. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine (trop froide), mais avons apprécié le spa. Destination à conserver :)

Très grande maison bien conçue pour un grand groupe.
Activités disponibles pour toutes catégories d’âges. Informations utiles a savoir les propriétaires sont sur place (gentils et discrets)… leur habitation est mitoyenne à la location. Pour accéder à la salle de jeu (génial pour les plus jeunes) il faut juste ressortir de la maison ; elle se trouve sous le logement des propriétaires. Merci à Steeve et Gina pour leur accueil.

Zalige vakantie
Zeer ruime woning, alsook de buitenruimte. aangenaam om met een grote groep elk een eigen badkamer (met wc) te hebben. de keuken is ook goed uitgerust: borden, bestek, glazen, tassen alles is meer dan voldoende aanwezig. ook bij minder goed weer ga je je niet vervelen: de speelkamer viel in de smaak bij de kinderen! bij mooi weer: BBQ en zwembad... vakantie :-) er zijn ook enkele fietsen, en in de buurt is er een fietsroute (VP26-Mohon-Trinite-Porhoet) huis is echt op de "boere buiten", je kunt in alle rust genieten. in de buurt te bezoeken: Josselin en voor de kinderen is er ook een pretpark op minder dan 1 uur rijden: kingoland. bedankt Gina & Steve!! wij komen terug !

3 zones de deux chambres, grande salle a manger avec bar. Salle de jeux très équipée , grande table également dans la cuisine.: beaucoup d’espace. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour!

Super séjour
Très bonne location tout y est même en Cas de mauvais temps. Il y a tout ce qu il faut dans la cuisine on a jamais vu ça autant de vaisselles et autre. on a apprécié le bar le salon les chambres avec chacun sa salle de bain. Le jardin et le spa. Sans oublier la gentillesse des propriétaires Seul point négatif les chambres du bas sont un peu moins confortables car bruit lorsque les propriétaires sont levés bruit de pas et télé besoin d insonoriser et les salles de bain ont besoin d un rafraîchissement mais ca n empêche que l ensemble est parfait et on s y sent bien. Je reviendrais. Je me souviendrai de mes 50 ans. Merci à vous deux et pour les bouteilles de cidre à notre arrivée. À bientôt.

Week-end en famille en mai
Ferme joliment restaurée au calme. Avons passé un agréable séjour en famille. Salons, tables de jeux, bar, piscine, jacuzzi, il y en avait pour tous les goûts. Et pour chaque famille son espace nuit. Très bon accueil.

Séjour idéal entre amis à la Vieille Ferme, la maison est parfaite pour un week-end en groupe
Steve et Gina nous ont accueillis chaudement dans leur gîte, la maison est parfaite pour un week-end en groupe. Comme dit dans les précédents commentaires, ils habitent dans une maison mitoyenne, donc attendez-vous à les croiser souvent, mais vu leur gentillesse et discrétion cela ne devrait vous poser aucun problème. La literie est parfaite, une salle de bain dans chaque chambre, des canapés à ne plus savoir quoi en faire et une salle de jeu complète, tout cela a sû compensé le temps mitigé de notre week-end !

Très bon séjour entre amis.
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Phil et Jenny. Ils nous ont réservé un accueil très agréable à notre arrivée. Au maximum nous étions 14 adultes et 4 enfants en bas âge, la maison est vraiment très spacieuse et permet de ne pas se marcher sur les pieds. La literie est de bonne qualité. La météo ne nous a pas permis de tester la piscine mais le jacuzzi a été très apprécié. Une bonne adresse à recommander.

Super endroit
La maison est magnifique, avec 6 chambres avec salle de bain. Extérieur super, avec piscine et jacuzzi. Propriétaire au top, très sympa. Très bon moments passés, à refaire.

Location conforme au descriptif, 2 nuits passées entre copains, bon petit we les propriétaires sont à l'écoutes, discrets et très gentils. Nous avons passé un bon moment. La prestation de soins est à faire!! et super jacuzzi :)
