My husband. snd I spent 4 nights at Baobab in February 2024 and had a wonderful experience. our room was comfortable, air conditioned and had a nice view. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The infinity pool was great and the activities ppl enthusiastic without being annoying. Water aerobics was really fun to watch. The buffet is great. plenty of selections. However the private dining restaurants were awesome. we had dinner at the sane one twice because the food was top notch. Great place! The drive from Mombassa took 2 hours due yo traffic and time of day so be prepared fir that. Going back it took 30 minutes

Not enough "simple" meal options, e.g. often basic potatoes are spiced up as a lot of other food. No good if you don't like spices and herbs. Staff were brilliant; helpful, freindly, other than on reception who made no eye contact or "jambo" if you were waiting and certainly didn't come across as happy.

The hotel has snakes which roam the place at night. I got a snake bite and the management don’t care. They abandoned me at the hospital. I paid my own hospital bill. They just don’t care .

I loved the space around the property and the fact that you could find peace and quiet in any number of locations whether that was lounging by a pool, close to the beach or sitting in the shade sipping a lovely local cocktail

Staff is excellent: personable, polite, helpful, engaging. Nicely done! We would have liked to see a small table between lounge chairs under the umbrellas as there was no place to put a drink or other items. Also, would have appreciated waiters to come around occasionally and offer drinks.

This was our third stay at Boabab and it won’t be our last. It’s at the far end of Diani but still accessible to the local shops with a tuk tuk. Staff are excellent, the food good and overall a beautiful place to be.

The hotel is a wonderful relaxing place to stay. The restaurant staff and housekeepers were very friendly and helpful. Sadly the front desk staff were not so helpful, for example, having said we could use a room to shower before leaving, when the time came we were bluntly told it wasn't available. Their general unhelpful attitude left an unpleasant taste at the end of what was otherwise a lovely stay at the hotel.

Beautiful kept grounds and extremely nice staff. The room was very comfy. The buffet was unbelievably delicious and lots of variety. The security guard Micheal was so helpful and nice whenever we needed some advice. Thanks for a great vacation!

Stayed here with the family. Rooms are a little tired but have enough space. Staff were all generally friendly and helpful. Quite a few people got sick during our stay. Staff were reluctant to let us take food back to the rooms while we looked after sick children. They also ran out of some food during the evening buffet. Facilities are ok with a range of pools. Beach is amazing.

We appreciate comments on staff attitude and will pass these to them.On the few people who “got sick during our stay”, we wish to clarify that always maintain high standards of hygiene in the resort. Upon learning of any sick guest at the resort, through our GRO, we will always follow this up to nail the cause, and from our records, we could not trace any resulting from our food. We are nevertheless, sincerely sorry about the sick children in the room and that you were not able to take food to them. We will follow this up with our F&B team to correct this gap. We have also noted on the food running out during buffet and will take up with the kitchen team. We look forward to hosting you again soon.

The rooms and the views where awesome. The pools where beautiful. However they close to early. The food was good, but buffet for every meal? They served the same food for every meal. The towels was like using 80 grit sandpaper to dry yourdelf off. After dinner, there is not alot of night life The 9:30 show was nice, the volume could be adjusted, too loud at times

As we recover from the pandemic, the numbers do not allow full operations, but we have ensured we have all necessary facilities available for our guests and many have appreciated the efforts. On the beach boys, we keep engaging them to ensure they do not harass our guests. We also made our own beach within the hotel but close to the beach, which is free of the beach boys. I had to pay for the stay after 10 am After check out 30 USD/ person but they told the lie for sure because everyone have to check out 10 am , where the 100-1000 people goes weekly after check out who have afternoon flight? Are they standing outside? Management said to me they are waiting in the lobby, without food and drinks, it was an other lie because just half hour before an other staff said they can’t monitor if the guest eating something so everyone have to pay even if they are only in the lobby . My flight was 8.30 pm from Mombasa So i paid for me And for my son We not gonna coming back soon , Instead we go to Dubai as last two times , we get comfort and luxury and good food very friendly staff Kenya became greedy , they are lying and the staff nasty They gave us dirty towels Good luck Kenya

We are truly remorseful for the last minute experience you had in the hotel, which was quite unfortunate as it left a bad experience on an otherwise good holiday. Just to shed some light on the late check-out charges, our check out time is 1000hrs and all guests departing after this hour will pay Usd 30 per person. This will allow them to enjoy the full all-inclusive offers, excluding the room, until their departure time. Accept our sincere apologies if this procedure was not made known to you earlier. About the dirty towels, we wish to clarify that we only issue clean towels to our guests and that the management will not allow dirty towels to be issued. It is disturbing that this unlikely circumstance could have happened to you, we are sorry again for this. We will investigate further to identify and close any gaps. We are glad you gave us an opportunity to host you and would wish to have you back again. Should you have further observations or need any clarification, please feel free to contact us.

Location was very good and the room had a good view of the infinity pool and was close to everything. Cleanliness, food and wait staff were also very good, helpful and friendly. There were people constantly cleaning the grounds, rooms, etc. Promotion of this hotel in North America would be very beneficial. I thought the front desk personnel could be more proactive, helpful and engaging. Lucy at Kole Kole was wonderful and very willing to assist. It was hard to get a proper email response regarding airport transfer from Mombasa Airport. I had to resort to phoning from Nairobi.

Overall good place to stay.
Water in the bathroom had a foul smell as they use borehole water. Towels also had bad smell. Food was good. Names of the food items should be properly translated.
