"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"Hôtel au charme de l'ancien , très propre ,bon accueil , chambre spacieuse , bonne literie , je ne comprends vraiment pas la note de 2 que certains ont mis. Seul petit point qui peut gêner c'est sa localisation en centre vieille ville , perso j'ai renoncé à venir en voiture jusqu'à l'hôtel mais j'ai trouvé à garer ma voiture à 5 mn à pied de l'hôtel . Il y a des places de parking le long du Bvd Ballon devant l'école Chabestan , et en face un petit parking en "épis" , les deux sont gratuits ! Si...

Emplacement idéal pour le ski : situation au pied des pistes, avec des navettes gratuites et régulières pour rejoindre le village. "Excellent service from the lady at reception, she couldn't have been more helpful. Its a budget hotel, so my expectations were not high and proved correct. Quite tired rooms, but very clean, no issues with that. Room was dark and shutters didn't open, perhaps to cut down the noise from the railway at the back. No dining or bar facilities; they do offer breakfast but I had to check-out early, so didnt try it."
