Der Empfang war freundlich, wir sprachen nicht besonders gut Französisch und sie versuchten ihr Bestes, uns etwas über das Haus und die Umgebung zu erzählen. Bei Erhalt erhielten wir von ihnen auch eine Flasche Wein. Außerdem schönes Haus mit viel Ruhe. Viele Dinge, die Sie unterhalten. Außerdem liegt das Schwimmbad neben dem Haus des Gastgebers, was schade ist. Ansonsten sehr schön!

Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, un ancien pigeonnier très bien restauré en maison d’hôtes avec tout le confort nécessaire. Le plus, le calme au milieu des vignes. Une belle piscine. Des animaux très attachants. De magnifiques ballades à faire dans les environs. Des vélos à disposition et tout ce qu’il faut pour amuser les enfants.

Lieve gastheer en gastvrouw hebben ons verwelkomd op de wijnboerderij. Hoewel we wat lang waren voor de lage deurposten en de wifi-ontvangst soms tegenviel, was het huisje gezellig en koel in de hitte van de zomerzon. Het zwembad was een zegen. De hartelijkheid van de boer en zijn vrouw en de heerlijke wijn maakte ook veel goed.

Aankomst was ok. De eigenaars waren wel op vakantie en de zus heeft ons goed geholpen. Accommodatie is super. Alles is aanwezig. Enkel de bedden zijn een beetje klein ;-). Het domein is super, je vindt er volledige rust en kan genieten van de wijngaarden. Het nabijgelegen dorpje Cadillac is heel makkelijk en vlug bereikbaar en er is een grote intermarché . Qua activiteiten is het wel een beetje zoeken maar je kan zeker leuke dingen doen. Bordeaux is een aanrader!

Great location for visiting the surrounding areas.

This was our first visit to France staying in a gite and this place did not disappoint. Very clean, beautiful and peaceful surroundings (when the animals were quiet 😊) The owners are lovely but our French is not good and their English not massively better, but on saying that we all communicated well enough to get by. We had complimentary wine from their vineyard, a lovely touch and a nice to drink. The accommodation was perfect although more than one fan was needed upstairs and we couldn't sleep with windows open as lots of mosquitoes so make sure you take plug ins (they do provide one) We were happy with the outdoor space, play area and pool. Great location to explore Bordeaux and down to Arcachon,the sand dune is well worth the visit and climb. We would happily go back.

Bij aankomst werden we erg vriendelijk ontvangen door Mevr. Daumec, zij heeft ons door het huisje geleid. De Pigeonnier was goed uitgerust en we kregen zelfs twee flessen wijn bij aankomst ! De omgeving is uiteraard prachtig, Monprimblanc is een heel rustig dorpje, temidden de wijngaarden, op een steenworp van Cadillac, waar alle nodige winkels aanwezig zijn.

De ideale uitvalsbasis als je rust en cultuur wil combineren: zowel Bordeaux als Saint-Emillion liggen op minder dan 45min rijden. Een bezoek aan Château de Cazeneuve is ook zeker de moeite waard. In het huis heb je alles wat je nodig hebt, verwacht echter geen luxekamers. Met meer dan 2 kindjes zou ik er niet logeren. Er is ook een halve dierentuin aanwezig: een paard, ezel, ganzen, duiven en kippen wat echt een plezier voor onze dochter (2j) was. De stad Cadillac ligt op 5 km, restaurant Chateau De La Tour (net achter het kasteel van Cadillac) is zeker een aanrader.
