Cozy retreat located off Lake Erie in Woodchuck Marina!

Perfect for a get-a-way, or stay-cay. Large cottage in Woodchuck Marina off Lake Erie. Enjoy the hot tub, large patio, fire pit, grill, Childrens sandbox/playhouse, boat dock available, and kayaks. This isn’t directly on Lake Erie it’s in a marina which leads out on Woodchuck Creek, park with beach on Lake Erie is provided with short walk. This is a working marina, and certain considerations should be made (I.e. do you like boats?). Coffee/goods shop and cottage are ajoined.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES:
Fenced in, Fire pit, huge deck, hot tub, kids play area/sand box, dining table, casual sitting area (covered), lounge chairs, gas grill/heaters (propane tank refills not included).

INDOOR AMENITIES:
Fully equipped kitchen, keurig/drip coffee maker, toaster, air fryer, cooking basics.
Living room has huge wrap-around sofa with smart tv, games. Dining area has 6 person table with additional 3 at peninsula.
Main Bathroom has large stand up shower, soaking tub and 2 sinks. Towels provided, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer.
Laundry has washer/dryer, ironing board and hanging rack.

Lovely location, lots to do

We had a nice stay at the marina. There is so much to do in the area (shopping, parks). Would love to come back in the summer when kayaking is in season.

Fishing trip

Our stay at the cottage was awesome easy access in and out of Lake Erie very clean a lot of room and it was awesome. I would highly recommend it. Emily is very polite and had good conversations with her.

Fun fishing spot and great stay

The property was very well done and we felt welcome. We enjoyed the stay and spent hours fishing off the docks right at the place. It’s a quiet area, and we did not have any concerns.

This is a gem in the area. So much space and meticulously appointed and decorated inside and out. Great as a home base for exploring the area or visiting family. We could not have been happier with our stay here.

Amazing getaway!

We visited Monroe for the holiday’s, and Emily was an amazing hostess! Her home was cozy and cute, along with the delicious and very convenient coffee and bakery attached. We can’t wait to visit again, this house will be on our list!

Great location

Spent 4 nights with a group of friends on a lake Erie fishing trip. The house was clean and spacious and we were able to keep the boat in the marina right outside the house. Emily was great host!

Very clean, tastefully decorated, and responsive host. Marina and was not as pictured but it was because of the heavy algae, very green, but that is not something the host has control of. Overall great experience.

Great House and location!

The house was awesome! Very roomy and tons of space and beds. Really big open dining/family/kitchen area with an incredible and large couch, great for hanging out with folks. The place was very clean and had everything you need. Emily was great and the check in/out process was incredibly easy. The location is great right on the marina and very close to Lake Erie. I highly recommend this house!!

Relaxing Stay in Monroe

My family and I loved this place! Plenty of space for our group of 5 and my dog! It was a very wonderfully decorated and comfortable house with lots of areas inside and out to hang, play games, read, watch football and be together! Loved having the coffee/gift shop next door. It didn’t disrupt us at all. Easy to access Detroit for a tigers game or the state park for some lake time! Would stay here again if in the area!

Amazing!

Emily was very kind. She provided several ideas for local attractions and the rental property was fantastic. Our family gets together a couple of time a year and this rental was one of the best we’ve stay at. Highly recommend it for any one looking for a spacious rental with all the accommodations needed for a great Vacay!

The place is so nice love how it was decorated.. we rented this place for my sister 60th birthday. She was very happy with it. It was nice. We even got to bring a boat. Management is very very nice.. I would go back there.

Luxury Fishing trip

Highly recommend. Overall great experience. We had a small issue with a propane tank, and the owner result it immediately. Very nice amenities. Great location. Everyone was very friendly. The coffee shop next-door is wonderful. Fisherman friendly. Will return again next year!

We wanted to find a place that would accommodate our boat and dog and woodchuck marina was above and beyond our expectations. Emily was wonderful!! So accommodating and has done a beautiful job renovating. Yard is fenced in which allowed our dog to be off leash outside. So nice. Beautiful home and yard with a relaxing hot tub after a day on Lake Erie. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks for having us Emily (and Chief). You guys are awesome.

Lovely time!

The property was lovely. I did not realize how industrial the area was (haven't been to that part of the state in a while), so not a Pure Michigan type of feel, but the property itself was wonderful. I did not realize there was a store literally connected which was under construction and that should most definitely have been in the listing or communicated. I left the day the painters were there because it was too distracting, but it was only one day. Only other minor nits - the sponge in the kitchen was old and smelled the entire kitchen up upon arrival, but once discarded, it was fine. Everything was clean, just that was missed. Also, we enjoyed the hot tub, but there was a layer of dirt on the seats and bottom so it was not vacuumed out in a while. Great stay overall.

Very nice space with a great living room and quiet area. Bedding was low quality with top sheets missing on all but one bed, mostly clean but there was mold on the shower curtain and in the washing machine, and the kitchen supplies were low quality and lacking a bit. Host was great and very responsive.
