"Great location. Within walking distance to MOCA, and a few restaurants that were open during our stay. The town is post industrial and post manufacturing. Walking around MOCA is a wonderful experience in itself as much of the history of the building and surrounding area comes alive and is fascinating.The exercise room is small. Not crowded. The pool was in use most of the time we were there as the pool is used for children's swimming lessons. We didn't want to use the hot tub with a bunch of kids and parents splashing around. Good staff and very responsive. "

"Cozy and comfortable cabin with plentiful natural light. About a 10 minute drive from Berkshire East Mountain resort which provided a fun day of family skiing. Generous and thoughtful host; a good bit of snow fell on one of our days, and he let us know where to park to avoid having to move our car for the plow, which made it easy to get in and out. Looking forward to staying there in the summer."

"This place is simply fantastic. If you are looking for quiet...and I mean ABSOLUTE quiet...this is your place! Nestled just five minutes south of Readsboro, VT, Brookside Cottage is the place to get disconnected and just breathe a bit. Our family needed this place...I needed to be here...with our kids growing up so fast, now at 14 and 11, my wife and I just wanted to have a few days to be together, play some games, watch some movies, and enjoy each other's company. I'm convinced we found the place that we will return to for years to come, and regardless of the season, we'll find happy memories together here as we made this week. Michael was a fantastic host from booking to even thanking us for being there! You won't go wrong with this gem, hidden in the beautiful and breathtaking silence of southern Vermont."

"This cabin was everything that was expected for us. The video tour was very helpful for check-in. Plenty of options for seating within. If there was a concern or question, it was responded to. One concern I had was that when we returned from our event around 8:30 pm, it was very dark. I didn't think to look and see if there was an outside light before leaving earlier in the day. I always carry a flashlight in my car, but that is a question I wished I had asked. We took a nice walk through the woods and down the path to the river. It was easy and relaxing at the river to just sit and listen. A great off the road option to spend a quiet getaway."

"We loved our 1 night stay here - it is a super cute log cabin with comfortable beds and very clean! Our favorite part was the fire pit for smores and the kids especially loved the cozy swings! Host was very accessible. Definitely recommend!"
