"I was very pleased with my stay! The staff was very kind and attentive! Loved the ocean view. Accommodations were comfortable! Very quiet and relaxing resort. A special thank you to Roberta, the manager! "
"The property was very dirty, the room was not ready for me to check in, the manager claimed the payment I made to cover my stay had not been reflected in their account.
The room shown to me was very dirty and no air conditioning in the room, the bed covers or sheets were dirty and stinking. The hotel does not resemble what was advertised in Expedia web site. I DID NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL DUE TO ALL OF THE ABOVE."

Stroll through the bustling Waterside Market where vendors sell colourful fabrics and locals share stories of resilience. Climb to the top of Providence Island for sweeping coastal views and visit the National Museum to understand the complex history that shaped this vibrant capital.
"I chose Afrilodge because it looked like it would be close to the sights I wanted to see on the map. It was perfect. I was able to walk literally everywhere. It is located on a main street and easy to reach Providence island, the museum, churches, and monuments in about 10 minutes walking in most cases. The staff were all very friendly and kind, and helped me whenever I had questions. The only thing that could be improved is the food. The restaurant doesn't serve African food, ironic from a place called Afrilodge, and it left a lot to be desired especially for the price. But, if I ever came back I would stay here again. Spacious, clean room, with a desk and chair as well as an arm chair and a smart TV. Really well-appointed for an affordable price. Thanks!"
"the manager is very nice. he tries his best to make guests comfortable as much as possible
a little efort on reducing the electricity consumption (cooling and lighting) would allow reduce the carbon impact"
"Bamboo Beach Resort is a wonderful gem for a relaxing getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning beach views—waking up to the sound of waves and watching sunsets from my balcony was pure bliss. The atmosphere by the pool was equally inviting, with upbeat (but not overpowering) music that added a lively yet laid-back vibe to the afternoons.
There was a small hiccup with my food order not arriving exactly as requested one evening, but it was quickly rectified, and the staff’s friendly attitude made it easy to brush off. The minor snag didn’t dampen my overall experience, especially since the rest of the meals were flavorful and satisfying.
The resort’s peaceful environment and well-kept grounds made it easy to unwind, whether I was lounging on the beach, dipping into the pool, or strolling through the tropical gardens. It’s clear that the team prioritizes guest comfort and a serene atmosphere.
I’d gladly recommend Bamboo Beach Resort to anyone seeking a short, rejuvenating vacation—it’s the perfect blend of scenic beauty, relaxation, and warm hospitality"
