Auch wenn das Wetter zu Beginn unserer Woche sehr zu wünschen übrig ließ (wie man es in der Normandie erwarten kann), haben wir es genossen. vom Haus, von der Umgebung und später in der Woche auch vom schönen Wetter. Das Haus liegt an einer recht ruhigen Straße auf dem Grundstück des sehr freundlichen Eigentümers, der auf der anderen Straßenseite wohnt. Wir durften das Auto in einem offenen Schuppen abstellen. Das Ferienhaus selbst ist mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Die Betten waren bei unserer Ankunft gemacht! Es gibt einen Smart-TV und Internet, obwohl es für den begeisterten Benutzer (wie unseren Teenager) etwas langsam sein kann. Es gibt einen umzäunten Garten, der zu Obstbäumen und etwas weiter zu einer Wiese mit Kühen führt. In der Gegend gibt es viel zu sehen, insbesondere was die Ereignisse am D-Day betrifft. Freitags gibt es in Valogne einen Markt. Als wir dort waren, gab es Live-Musik. Sie können dort auch einen Supermarkt finden. Wenn Sie eine größere Stadt suchen, empfiehlt sich Cherbourg. Alles in allem ist dieses Haus zu empfehlen, wenn Sie Ruhe und Frieden mögen und wenn Sie gerne historische Orte besuchen, können Sie sich dort auch verwöhnen lassen. Der freundliche Besitzer und das angenehme Zuhause werden sicherlich zu einem wunderschönen Urlaub beitragen!

Een heel fijn huisje, wat je ziet op de foto's is wat je krijgt ! heel vriendelijke eigenaar die ons stond op te wachten en een goede rondleiding en uitleg heeft gegeven. Mooi rustig huisje, voldoende plaats ( 2 volwassenen en grote hond) en rustige omgeving. Goede nachtrust door stilte s nachts. Voldoende plaats om aanhangwagen en auto te plaatsen op parking. De eigenaar ook steeds vlot bereikbaar indien er vragen waren. We gaan zeker terug !

Fijn huisje! Heel goed voorzien van nagenoeg alle praktische zaken die je maar kunt verzinnen. Wij waren erg blij met goede keukenspullen en serviesgoed. Minpuntje volgens de puber: hoewel de wifi-verbinding op zich sterk was, was het internet vrij traag, idem voor 4G. Het huisje ligt op een rustige plek, prima plek om de punt van Normandië te verkennen. Voor een deel van de D-Day stranden ligt het wat ver weg vonden wij (Omaha beach is een uurtje rijden, dus de standen verder naar het oosten hebben we niet bezocht), hoewel dat er net aan ligt wat je ver vindt. Cherbourg is in de buurt, net als Tatihou, de tours Vauban en St Mere Eglise. Last but not least: verhuurder Vincent is heel makkelijk en aardig!

De opstapjes naar de badkamer en de slaapkamer waren voor mijn invalide man wel een beetje lastig, maar voor een verblijf van een week wel te overzien. Voor boodschappen en bezienswaardigheden moet je wel een paar kilometer rijden. De kustplaatsjes zijn de moeite waard om te bezoeken.
