Casa do Palheiro

Casa do Palheiro was the old hayloft of the family home, where hay was stored to feed the cows during the winter. This space has been transformed into a comfortable and cosy home.
A two-story house. On the lower level, an open-concept space includes the kitchen, dining area, and living room.
On the upper level of the house, there are two bedrooms, both with double beds. The bathroom is shared but well-equipped.
From the bedroom windows, you can enjoy a magnificent view: the Cabreira Mountains and the Peneda-Gerês National Park on the right bank of the Cávado River.
A great place to relax and connect with nature. About 200 metres away, you can walk down to the Cávado Riverbed. There, you can admire the clear waters that wind their way through the rocks, forming large pools where, in the summer, you can take refreshing dips or simply listen to the sounds of nature.
An ideal spot for hiking and trail walking, mountaineering, or mountain biking.
