That’s not to say the rooms are old, they are up-to-date, but there are stories to each room and throughout the building. The free breakfast and coffee at the cafe next door is a great addition. And you are only a staircase away from a speak easy!"

"What a fabulously beautiful old hotel. I would spend the few extra dollars and stay in the hotel just for the view of the city!! Go to the main floor and sit in one of the overstuffed couches and leaf through a book in the library. Nothing cheesy about this hotel."
