El Majano Rural Cottage for 6 people

30 minutes from Cáceres, Mérida and Trujillo, in the Sierra de Montánchez, one kilometer from the town and with views of it, is the private estate of about one hectare, with excellent views of the town and the castle. In it there are plantations of fruit trees, oaks, chestnuts and vineyards.

It is located Casa Rural El Majano built with stones appropriate to the environment. An idyllic place for relaxation and rest. It consists of two double rooms and a double, large living room with sofa bed for two people, kitchenette equipped with all the necessary elements including oven, as well as wood stove, television, DVD, air conditioning hot / cold and two bathrooms. It also has an organic garden available to visitors and fresh eggs from the henhouse.
90 Euros four people, 150 euros for six house-finca integra.


It also has a nice porch in front of the castle, barbecue, petanque, swimming pool and organic garden that can taste natural products during the stay in the months of its existence. Route of the Castañar and Route of Where It is born in the alrrededores. Pets Allowed.

A lovely relaxing stay at this Finca within secluded area but great views and sunsets from the house. Can hike on trails from the house and down to the village for bars etc. Antonio was very good to us and we could eat fresh eggs from his hens.

Fuimos la familia con nuestro perro, que es muy grande. Disfrutamos mucho de la estancia. Aislado pero muy cerca del pueblo. Una maravillosa huerta y una piscina impecable. Antonio, muy pendiente y encantador. Muy recomendable.

Buena elección

Estuvimos en Mayo pasando unos días en familia. La casa es muy bonita, y el entorno más. La finca es enorme, llena de frutales y con unas vistas al Castillo de Montanchez espectaculares. Es un acontecimiento ver como anochece y se esconde el sol detrás del Castillo. El dueño muy amable y simpático. Nos dio total confianza, nos permitió coger las cerezas que quisimos y nos sentimos como en casa. El niño disfrutó corriendo por la finca un montón persiguiendo a un gato que había por allí. El único punto negativo es que faltaba un pelín de limpieza. No pretende ser esto una mala crítica pero sí para que lo tengan en cuenta. El menaje de la cocina, algunas cosas como las sartenes, un poco viejas y la alfombrilla de la ducha. Sólo es cambiar unos pocos detalles como esos para que sea una casa perfecta. Decir también que está muy bien ubicada para poder visitar Cáceres o Mérida porque está en medio de las dos ciudades. Impresionantes las dos.

Vacaciones en El Majano

Hemos estado despues de Semana Santa en la casa una semana, la ubicación, el paisaje y la tranquilidad que aporta la casa son muy dificiles de igualar. Es ideal si buscas un entorno de naturaleza con unas vistas envidiables al monte, castillo de Montanchez y a la planicie extremeña. Desde la misma puerta de la casa puedes realizar numerosas rutas entre castaños y alcornoques disfrutando de la naturaleza tanto en bici de montaña como rutas a pie (totalmente recomendables). El trato de Antonio, el propietario, muy bueno, atento a cualquier cuestión que precisaramos.
