Top Montebuono Hotel Reviews

Hilton Vacation Club Palazzo Catalani & Soriano

8/10 Good

"One building has no elevators. If you’re on the top floor you walk up three double flights of stairs. The property itself is atop a very steep hill to walk up from the street. The hotel is inaccessible except by walking up these steep hills so you have to call the hotel to have them arrange to follow someone in a small cart to a distant parking lot to bring your bags in at check in, leave your car there and drive back with him up the hills. That being said, if you are fit the view from the adjoining building which does have an elevator is beyond compare. Gorgeous. The room itself was spacious and had everything you might need. Breakfast was hosted by a kind woman. If you are not so fit it’s difficult to leave or arrive at this property. Hope this is helpful."

Antico Borgo di Sutri

10/10 Excellent

"Kind of out of the way from town without a car (my fault for not looking carefully at a map!) but the hotel sent someone to pick us up! We were walking the Via Francigena, and while it’s not super close to the main path they showed us a nice easy connecting trail and even printed a map and walked us out to the trailhead! Great breakfast too, lovely place all around."

Hotel Fina

8/10 Good

"The bedroom was too small. When we asked about it , we were told it was one of the bigger ones. There were some with balconies and we saw bigger rooms too. They were not willing to change rooms even when we offered to pay the difference. The location was good and parking lot readily accessible. We stayed 5 days. The fridge was too small and didn't cool very much. The room was cleaned daily and the beds made and towels were changed too. Good service. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Not sure if I would come back."

Grand Hotel San Gemini | UNA Esperienze.

8/10 Good

"The Hotel is Okay, definitely no worth of the name GRAND Hotel. There is nothing Grand about it. It is a decent place for a short stay. Very small rooms with Balcony. I will show you a picture or what they consider a balcony. Nice outside pool. The Staff was very nice. If you go to the Restaurant do not expect a traditional Italian food but tiny portions of something they have to explain in order for you to know what you are eating. No worth the money. Much better food just outside a 3-5 minutes walking."
