"Pros: We've had a wonderful time (two weeks) in this lovely hom with our 3 kids (16,14 and 10). It was very warm during our stay because of the heatwave, but with closing the windows and shutters during the day and the ventilators during the night we could manage the heat. Everything you need is in the house, and beside the coffee and tea Paula surprised us with a cold bottle Prosecco. Her mother, living upstairs, surprised us with plums of her own garden the next morning and gave us good advice...

Top Montecarlo Hotel Reviews

Hotel Pisa Tower

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were very helpful and friendly the location is brilliant. Clean nothing too fancy and price is good."

Hotel Villa Kinzica

8/10 Good

"Hotel Villa Kinzica is a hidden gem in Pisa. We highly recommend it for your visit. It's only a two-minute walk to the base of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the beautiful buildings surrounding it. Our room, #53, had a view of the tower. The hotel is a traditional Italian hotel with furnishings and decor that reminded us of the 50s. When you enter the well-maintained and spotlessly clean hotel, it is instantly quiet and calm. It feels like a step back in time. ►I can't emphasize how clean and well-maintained the entire hotel was. ► Michael, the front desk clerk, was marvelous. Very warm, friendly, and helpful. ►The breakfast room was lovely, with a beautiful mural on one wall. A continental breakfast included juice, coffee, tea, boiled eggs, meats, cheese, croissants, toast, and pastries. The attendant makes your coffee in any style you would like. ►The location is excellent. You are near the main tourist area, but far enough away to avoid the noise. Be sure to eat at the steakhouse directly across from the hotel. It is very good and reasonably priced. Even if you aren't a meat eater, they have vegetarian options. We loved this hotel and will stay there the next time we are in Pisa."

AC Hotel Pisa by Marriott

8/10 Good

"Compared with hotels in Asia, the amenities here are relatively basic, as slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are not provided. My only other observation is that the bathroom is not completely sealed off from the room, unlike what you typically find in hotels in Asia. As a result, sounds from the bathroom can be heard quite clearly in the room, which can be slightly uncomfortable."
