"We found sanctuary at this lovely farmhouse during the July heat wave--refreshing dip in the pool, relaxing dinner in the courtyard, restful sleep in the air-conditioned home. Got up to watch the sunrise over the vineyards, absolutely stunning scenery, and watched three hot air balloons also taking in the sights. Matteo was very welcoming, and we bridged the language barrier with a little help from Google translate. Wished we could have stayed longer!"

So much so that we almost want to keep it a secret: The location is great (in the hillside above Florence), the space is amazing with high-quality furniture and materials, and the hosts are super friendly and accommodating. The whole place and guest experience are designed with great care and attention to detail. We felt right at home and would return in a heartbeat. If there was one point of critique: I wish the listing had made clear the additional cost...

They were highly attentive and accommodated most of our requests without any hesitation. Perfect Location: The property is within short walking distance of the historic city, which was a massive plus for exploring without needing to constant rely on transport. Comfortable Rooms: Our room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. Standout Rooftop: The absolute highlight was the rooftop lounge and bar. It was excellent and offered a truly spectacular view of the historic city—the perfect spot to unwind in the evening.We had a wonderful time and will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel , but it is a bit of a trek into Florence . If you choose to walk it's about an hour or you can get the bus but that takes between 20 minutes with no traffic to over 40 minutes at busy times . We did use taxis occasionally but they are expensive 30 euros into town each way. But it was lovely to return to the peace and quiet after a long day sightseeing and using their wonderful swimming pool."
