All around a good bargain! A little outdated feeling rooms but the city is the experience not the room.

The Inn at 1252
Needed a room in a pinch due to a power outage in Carmel and 1252 helped us out. Room was fine, small, basically fit just the bed and tv stand. Big bathroom. But if you need a motel this one worked great for us. Nice staff in the front.

Carmel Hill Lodge
This is the second time I’ve stayed here. The gentleman that checked me in both times is nice and friendly. The rooms I have stayed in are updated and clean. I like the amenities in the room. There’s a blow dryer, iron, ironing board, coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.

Aura Inn Monterey
Clean and spacious room. Staff accommodated request for ground floor instead of second floor. Fan/AC worked great. Shampoo/conditioner provided in the shower did not seem to be condtioner. Floor seemed dirty, so perhaps better door mats during winter time or rainy seasons would help?
