"I was concerned when I first booked this spot because it was a little removed from Siena or Florence. It was the BEST decision I made on our journey through Italy. The family was amazing! The weee extremely pleasant and helpful. They gave us great ideas on where to eat, cities to visit and excursions to do. Ettore set us up with reservations at a local restaurant that was amazing! It was a true Tuscan local experience. He also recommended seeing specifics parts of Siena and other local cities...

The apartment is walkable to dining and shopping. The street is steep and the nearby medievale hill town is steeper. "We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Atenas. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. A special mention goes, Emiliano, whose warm, cheerful, and attentive attitude truly made our arrival feel special. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We traveled with our two-month-old baby, and everything was smooth and enjoyable—something we really appreciated. The hotel is well-suited for families, business travelers, and couples alike. Breakfast was delicious! We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!"
