"The property is very clean and has everything you need right on the property. The restaurant has amazing food, the staff is very helpful, and the rooms are very clean. There are several hot springs and a pool with water slides for kids. It is a great property, and we highly recommend it if you visit the La Fortuna area."

"I liked staying at the Trapp Hotel Monteverde that I rearranged our travel plans to stay an extra night! The hotel is beautifully maintained and everyone was kind and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and the RESTAURANT was amazing!! We stayed 5 nights and ate there every night. The chicken salad and beef tenderloin with fresh mushrooms and mashed potatoes were next level. We stayed in the forest suite, with giant picture windows and a king size bed. The beds are firm but felt good for our backs. One note, if you’re staying here bring your own snacks. Other than that, 11/10. Here’s why: Hospitality: we checked in really late the 1st night, and they were kind enough to accommodate that. The security guard walked us to our room and offered to help carry luggage, he is so kind. The front desk employees are patient and kind too! Safety: There is an awesome security guard patrolling at night, and our room was enclosed securely in a locked hallway (we lock it from the inside). I never felt unsafe and even walked around the hotel at night to look at bugs and nocturnal animals. Suite: Firm bedding, plenty of outlets, large bathroom and picture windows. Eco-friendly toiletries that smell out of this world! No microwave or fridge. Not really needed. Proximity: An easy 10-15 minute walk to Monteverde Cloud Forest and Cafe Colibrí! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will hopefully be back again next year :)"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. We kept asking them for great places to eat and they always had a new place for us to go that was amazing. The apartment we stayed at had a fireplace that my wife enjoyed at night and an arcade game for the kids to play with. It was a great place for us to relax at the end of the day and get ready for the next days activities."
