The hotel is located in an excellent area of Montevideo, Punta Carretas. Our room was clean and well appointed. The breakfast had a variety of excellent breads, fruit, and made to order eggs. There were two things we really loved: their ebikes and the rooftop plunge pool. We rented the brand new bikes for 10USD for a full day. The hotel is right across from the rambla, which is a 20 km. cycling/walking path. The pool is small--more of a large hot tub--but is available to reserve privately each day for an hour at no extra charge.

A very nice hotel located on the rambla overlooking the ocean within short walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The staff is very professional and attentive! The breakfast is very nicely done with good variety-breads, cheese/meat; fresh fruits; juices; eggs to order; specialty coffees. Their afternoon tea is very good too although a bit pricey but worth it. Rooms are clean with adequate amenities and attentive cleaning staff. The only disappointment we had was no sun deck on the top floor. But there’s beach front and park across the street! Definitely will stay again!!!!

It was an amazing place with amazing staff and amazing location. The breakfast was also amazing. The corner suite was totally worth it. We borrowed the electric bikes and had a great time on the Rambla. We loved the citrus water in the lobby and the hot tub was very nice when we got a reservation. Two things to know though, our bed was pretty firm. We ended up putting our comforter under us while we slept and that was ok. The swim pro hot tub didn’t quite work all the way either, but those were very minor complaints for a stay well worth the slight up charge.

Very nice hotel, a bit outdated, but extremely clean, personnel super nice, awesome location, good breakfast and great views to the ocean/river, I travel a lot for work and stay in hotels all the time, but this was certainly one of the best! Highly recommended !

The staying at Cala Di Volpe Hotel Boutique was a pleasant experience, we stayed for 10 days, the only inconvenience was the fan/ extractor in the bathroom wasn’t working at the time of arrival and stayed like that for few days even after I bring it to the attention to the front desk. However everything else was very nice, the room and the place in general was very clean. All the personnel, from manager,front desk,maids, breakfast/ restaurant personnel was very polite and attentive.

The area around the hotel, with the ocean and the walking/biking path, is breathtaking. Front desk staff speaks good English, very helpful and accommodating as I changed rooms to get a love seat. Restaurant is excellent, 25 percent off for guests, waiter we kept getting was so pleasant (wish I got a name). Room was good, great view, Climate control a little strange, set the same across the hotel. Bring your own tissues. Good shower, comfortable bed. Lots of things available in the room to be charged for but not overly pricey. Enjoyed breakfast, different breads, eggs cooked to request. Didn't have a car, took Uber everywhere. Hotel is definitely recommended.

Beautiful property! They offer a lovely tea buffet. A little pricey but I really enjoyed it. Located right on the rambla overlooking the ocean (River) with easy walking or biking. Shopping mall within 5 minutes walk. The only downer for me was the traffic noise during the night and my room being located next to cleaning staff room. Overall, a great experience.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Water pressure is very strong. Bedding was multilayered which worked well for my husband and I since we prefer different temperature levels. The staff were friendly and informative. We also ordered room service and that was quick, competitively priced, and they went above and beyond to ensure my food allergy was avoided. The English to Spanish language barrier was no issue for us. Also you’ve got to check out the swim spa on the top floor and fitness center! 😍
