"Beautiful place and people. Frederic is a wonderful host. He allowed early check in and attended to all of our needs. There are stairs to the bedrooms, he carried our luggage up and down. The property vastly exceeds the description and certainty our expectations. There are many châteaux and wineries. Frederic helped us with our itinerary. We would very much love to return."

"The property was very clean and in a lovely location- just a walk into the town of Amboise. The property was well equipped with towels, cleaning supplies etc. We also enjoyed the pool.However access was a bit of an issue as the host did not respond to my messages regarding the entrance of the gîte. This was quite stressful as we were unsure as to which property was the correct one. However after we worked this out, the stay was very pleasant and we had a lovely holiday!"

"The house was absolutely fantastic. So comfortable in every way. Very well equipped and clean. So much thought has gone into what is needed. We had towels and robes provided for the pool and hot tub. Two families shared the property and it worked perfectly The outside areas were outstanding. The pool was perfect and the hot tub too. Philippe was great and answered any questions we had. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed!"

"A beautiful cottage nestling in a clearing in the forest. Peace and tranquillity abound. Even though the cottage is away from it all it is ideally placed for visiting all the glorious chateaux in the area. The property is well equipped and tastefully furnished making it a real home from home. We recommend it to anyone wishing to visit this area for either a long or short stay."

"Terrific property to celebrate any occasion with a large group. There were 10 of us and everyone enjoyed the peaceful location and hikes in the woods. Ideal location to visit the Loire Château sites and the many tasting rooms at local vineyards. Highly recommended for in house meals and garherings around the fireplace in the evenings."

"This property is in a very quiet village with only a boulangerie which isn't open every day and a posh Chateau restaurant. There's a supermarket 8 minutes away and other boulangeries. We swam in the river, visited Amboise, Tours, chateaus and Beauval zoo from here. The house is spacious. and has everything you need. The hosts are kind and friendly. They live 2 doors up. We were shocked by the amount charged for bedding though.E149 Agree a price before you go."

"The staff went out of their way to be helpful! It was a school holiday, so Taxi’s were hard to get. We walked to the hotel from the Train Station across the river. When we discovered that the hotel restaurant was booked & we would have to walk to another one, the front desk clerk actually got his car & drove us there! We very much appreciated this. This hotel is within close walking distance of 2 castles & a beautiful shopping area. The food was excellent, the hotel very comfortable & the staff were more than welcoming."
