We loved the Lake House! Stayed for a girlfriends trip. Beds comfortable, game room was a blast! It’s just a short drive to Conley Bottom where we rented a pontoon for the day. Ate twice at the marina there - super friendly service and good food. We will be back. I highly recommend this listing.

Beautiful views & the game room was a huge hit!
Short adventure around KY for spring break with our 2 kids. This home was our first stop. The pics of this place don't do it justice. The views are amazing. So many things for the kids to do in the house. They were excited about the bunk beds but when they realized they were on the lower level and we would be on a different floor they were not excited about them anymore. If they were teens they definitely would have been. Which is fine there was a wonderfully comfortable bed right down the hall. I think if there had been other kids with them they might have went for it. The house is not far from a number of things in the area to do. Somerset has just about everything & anything store, restaurant wise you would ever need & it's 10 mins up the road, The kitchen was fully equipped. Though we were running around during most meals and did not get to utilize it outside of making some popcorn one night. There's a TV in every room of the house which was great. My kids never wanted to go to bed because they wanted to play in the game room all night. There were so many cool games available for all of us to play. Darts, golden tee, arcade games, some derby game...it was perfect. This is of course in addition to all the stuff available on the lower level including ping pong and a Wii and indoor putt putt golf. Thank you for being the best house on our trip across Kentucky for spring break.

This was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken with my kids. The view was spectacular and the cabin was even better than the pictures!! The host was quick to respond and there were so many extra touches that truly made us feel welcome and at home. The game room was so much fun and my kids thoroughly enjoyed beating me at ping pong. We can’t wait to return!

Great couples getaway
My wife and I enjoyed a weekend getaway in this amazing home. Pictures didn’t do it justice. View of the lake was great. Screened in porch with comfy seating. As it got a little cool at night, enjoyed the fireplace. Tons of tv’s with Rokus and YoutubeTV. Easy to login to WiFi (and good internet speeds)! Easy to setup and access own accounts on some other streaming services. Nice touches by labeling light switches. Coffee bar was so nice, including a grinder with beans loaded up. Game room and karaoke machine were so much fun. We relaxed in the hot tub every chance we got. Bed was super comfortable. Check in/check out was easy and well laid out when cleaning up and locking up. Downstairs was so nice with a Wii and tons of games, including a putting green. Fishing poles were available, along with a cornhole set. We might bring our kids sometime (nah, we’ll keep this for ourselves for a hopeful “next time”!) Neighborhood was very quiet and nice. Dollar General right up the road for anything you’d need. Would highly recommend.

Second stay
We stayed for the second time, and the house had an added game room, hot tub and bathroom in the lower level. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed watching birds and other forest animals from the back porch and screened in porch. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We had everything we needed and more. We will be staying again!

Lake was beautiful! Rented a boat and went tubing. So fun! Great towns! Went hiking in Daniel Boone forest, what a gem!! Highly recommend a trip to lake Cumberland! Loved it!

Fantastic Getaway
This property was perfect for the weekend getaway. No water access at all but the cabin had great amenities that kept us busy. There is not much to do around but the Boathouse was fantastic for lunch and a short drive. Great place to relax for the weekend!

Amber, we are so pleased you and your party stayed and enjoyed what our property has to offer! Since the home is on a bluff, as are most Lake Cumberland lakefront properties, accessing the water directly would definitely be difficult since it would require having to walk down a long, steep grade to get to the lake’s tree lined rocky ledge; but even though a challenging topography exists we are planning a pathway down to the lake’s edge for future guest use. As Lake Cumberland is in a rural area most of our past guests seem to have enjoyed taking advantage of the various outdoor natural attractions and lake related activities here. Hopefully you can revisit and enjoy some more of what the area has to offer. We agree that Conley Bottom Marina’s Boathouse Restaurant is one of the great restaurants around the area. If you’re ever around again we can also recommend Lee’s Ford Resort Marina’s Harbor Restaurant.

Peaceful retreat!
This was our first ever experience with a Vrbo and it couldn’t have went smoother… The property was beautiful, and a very peaceful setting. The only thing that could’ve made it better was a pathway down to the lake… But seriously this was a wonderful property, and everything was as depicted in the ad, kudos to our host.

Family trip to Lake Cumberland
We all enjoyed the home and amenities. The view was great from the porch and deck! We got a lot of use out of the game room in the evenings. Conley Bottom was about 20 minutes away so we kept our boat docked there for the week. Overall a great stay!

Perfect Getaway! We WILL be back!
The property was well maintained and had everything we could of asked for and more! The view of the lake and screened in back porch was amazing! A perfect location to Conley Bottom if you are launching a boat! We had 9 people stay in the home without any issues for sleeping arrangemnets or comfort. The cottage is spacious and has a lot of things for you kids and teenagers to keep busy! We rented the cottage before the game room was added, a nice surprise and the teenagers LOVED it and spent a lot of their time in their laughing and gaming. Valarie, the owner was very responsive to any issues and helped make our stay as comfortable as possible! We cannot say enough good things about this property and the owners! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!

Perfect Getaway
This property was perfect for our family. It was 20-25 minutes to SomerSplash Waterpark and Conley Bottom. The owners included some personal touches and the game room and enclosed porch were a hit with our family. We would definitely recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean with plenty of space for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the back porch was amazing!! The house had lots to do with the game room and even had puzzles that our little one loved! Absolutely the best house we have ever rented through VRBO.

This lake house was exactly as it was portrayed and then some. Very clean, well decorated, comfortable and just fun. We enjoyed the game room in the garage and the basement! The view was spectacular! The host was very helpful with the surrounding area amenities for a boat slip and other activities. We have already decided we are going there annually!

Great place for a family trip to the lake!
We loved everything about this property! It’s convenient to Lake Cumberland-we rented at boat at Conley Bottom and we able to get there in less than 20 min. It’s also convenient to shopping and restaurants in Somerset. Our kids (12 and 10) loved the newly added game room. And the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. The screened in porch with a view of the lake was great for an early morning coffee or an evening wind down with a book. We are already talking about going back!

My friends and I were immediately impressed with Valerie and David's place as soon as we arrived. It was extremely cleanly, like the cleanliest property I've ever stayed at. All of the amenities enhanced our vacation (hot tub, games, coffee bar, etc.). As the weekend ended, we all agreed that this would be a place we'd love to come back to again and again in the future!

Everything we expected!!!
We cannot say enough about this beautiful property! The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are amazing and the screened in porch was the perfect place to enjoy our coffee each morning and to enjoy views at dinner. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We didn’t have our kids with us but this house is definitely perfect for those traveling with children. A trip into town was a short 10 minute drive and there were marinas within 15 minutes that we utilized as well during our stay. The property owners were easy to reach and even contacted us during our stay to check in with us and make sure we were aware of incoming bad weather. We have stayed at several houses and cabins through VRBO but so far this has been our favorite. We will definitely be back again.

Great view
The best part is waking up to the amazing view of the lake each day. The house was clean, everything we could possibly need was thought of and even a small welcome basket of snacks on the counter. Highly recommend.

Beautiful view, well-stocked home
I visited the area with extended family members over the Thanksgiving holiday. The home was lovely and very well-maintained. There were plenty of kitchen items available for us as we cooked all of our meals in the house. Little extras were well appreciated, such as travel sized toiletry items and plenty of extra towels, blankets, sheets, etc. The house was also well stocked with entertainment items. There were TVs in every room, a ping pong table, darts, hot tub, board games, etc. All the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. If we had to make one minor adjustment, we would have appreciated blackout shades in the upstairs bedrooms. The highlight of the home, is the view from the back deck/porch. We even saw a rainbow over the river right before we departed. Everyone in our party enjoyed sitting on the porch or looking at the views from the hot tub. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Anniversary Trip

Relax and Reminisce
We travel from Georgia and Indiana and meet halfway once a year this year we picked Lake Cumberland and we were very happy with the house. It was decorated nicely, comfortable, included all we needed. Our time was spent mainly on upper deck overlooking the water. Would definitely recommend it for a getaway at Lake Cumberland.

I absolutely loved this home, they had literally everything you would need for a stay away from home. My favorite part was drinking my morning coffee on the back screened in porch with an amazing lake view!! We enjoyed the basement/ game room, plenty of activities to keep you busy. Loved the outdoor swing!! I would highly recommend this to adults only or a family with kids. Fantastic place to stay!! Thanks to the owners for allowing us to enjoy their beautiful home!!!

An Awesome Family Weekend!
This lake house is uniquely exceptional in location, appeal, comforts, views and amenities. Lots of extra touches that made our familys' stay comfortable and pleasurable! We enjoyed a lovely serene evening walk and saw wild turkeys and hummingbirds in the mornings. We are a picky group…everyone, especially the children, loved this lake house! We will be back!
