The check in was very disappointing, the front desk manager was very non accommodating . Instead of welcoming us warmly as what should a self proclaimed 4 star wellness resort should do, she was more focused on making sure we pay for the additional guests. We were already aware of the extra charges that we have to pay but she made changes on the reservation by trying to charge us more for the meals which should have been included already. She stated that it was an error on the staff that made the reservation for us and that if it will be adjusted , it will be deducted from his paycheck. which was a very unprofessional thing to say. It felt like a cheap attempt to squeeze more money from us. This is actually our 2nd time in this resort, the first visit was impressive thats why we came back with more guests, but it felt like the facility and service deteriorated. The only good thing during this stay was the breakfast.

We have a great stay over the past weekend at yO1. The facility is beautiful. I loved the vegetarian food concept there. It was a nice peaceful stay. The yoga classes are great, must try the Nidra yoga session. It was something I never experienced before! I will say that the carpets are quite disgusting as there are old stains that have never been cleaned properly before and some parts of the building need to be up kept with maintenance and repairs. Overall though a very nice place to come for a quiet weekend getaway. I will definitely come back.

Spent a lovely weekend here with my wife. It's a beautiful spot right by a peaceful lake. The staff was super hospitable (a special shout-out to Chiana, who couldn't have been kinder). The Hatha yoga class with Sef (sp) was incredible and my wife raved about her massage with David. There were lots of interesting-sounding activities to try, but tbh, I was feeling lazy; for those more adventurous/motivated, there are tons of options. Highly recommended!

Great staff, good breakfast even if you are not a vegan like me. Rooms are nice but could use an interior decorators touch like the Eldred preserve nearby. But price wise for what you get it’s a good value. My main problem is the pool is freezing. Everyone complains about it. Please raise the pool temperature so we can actually use it. I don’t want to hear people who swim a lot need it cooler. The majority of people there are not swimming a lot but want to actually enjoy the pool.

Loved the availability of offerings and things to do on site. Most of the staff were great, very friendly and inviting! Physically this place is beautiful, huge and has so much to offer. Overall when you just glance without paying attention everything looks great, but when you pay attention you realize that a bunch of things could be cleaner. I wish they would pay attention to the details and little things in terms of cleanliness and service in the rooms and throughout the building. If the managers want details please let me know, I would be happy to discuss privately. I would definitely return again.

This was our 4th stay this year at YO1 and again it was another great stay. The staff is wonderful and accommodating, the place is clean and safe and we love the amenities they have to offer. Also, we love YO1's vegan and vegiterranean options. My first time there, I thought I would be eating grass and chia seeds (LOL) but that wasn't the case at all! I'm not a vegan of vegiterranean but their food is amazing!! Their head chef is awesome. If you're looking for a nice quiet, peaceful getaway, try YO1. It's a huge compound geared for peace and wellness. They have every possible amenity for just that. We've met people for all over the tri-state area, some come in couples, some come alone just for peace, wellness and relaxation. Whether you're into yoga, working out or just need a peaceful and quiet getaway, try this place. We're looking forward to our next stay there very soon! Can't wait!

I actually extended my stay because it was so nice to relax and participate in daily yoga and enjoy my own private steam shower. The weather had caused a few hiccups such as a power outage and some leaks that looked like they were being fixed but the staff were exceptional. I loved the grounds and the amazing restaurant, you would never know it was vegan. The weekends definitely have more amenities but I enjoyed the calmness of the weekdays as well. I will be returning.

I loved my stay here! I came alone to rest and exercise and had a wonderful time. The Yoga and meditation classes were great and included in the price for the room. The food is all vegan and i am not vegan but was so delicious, if I could cook vegan food like that i would become one. There were always 3 choices on the menu, so plenty to choose from. Some reviews i read were not great so I was a bit worried but I was very pleasantly surprised, and I will definitely come back. The restaurant staff do seem busy and few for the number of people but were still so kind. And the view of the lake is gorgeous. I left very relaxed!

Upon my arrival I was greeted by a lovely gentleman who was so kind and helpful that I immediately felt at home. Despite a few hiccups like the fire doors closing and me not being able to access my room until someone opened the door my stay was wonderful. The staff here were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. I loved both yoga instructors especially the one who gave me a private gong session because I had a treatment scheduled during the regular one. Dining here was amazing and I swear you would never know it’s vegan but my body definitely appreciated it. The grounds are beautiful with lake views, trails through the woods and a serene landscape. I loved the pool and jacuzzi and swam daily. Waking up to a yoga class, a walk and then a lovely breakfast followed by amazing treatments was exactly what my soul needed. I loved my room with a lake view and my own steam shower. My visit was initially 2 nights and turned into 3. I left the property feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I will be back and can’t wait to invite family and friends to join me. Next time I will be sure to take advantage of all of the programs and services they offer. I plan on returning in the winter.

I booked and paid full through expedia over a month ago. When I checked in the paper I was given to sign said my card would only be charged for incidentals. When u got to my room I was shocked to see my account was charged was the full night rate from the hotel. I immediately called the front desk because I knew this had to be a mistake. My rate that was fully paid on expedia since sept 1 and I was not to b charged at the hotel. I was told very rudely that in the past the hotel had trouble receiving expedia payments. So the full amount of the room was being charged to my card and I was not notified about this at all during check in! It was very inconvenient being charged double what i paid for the expedia rate for a hold on my account when i was expecting only the incidental and this was not written on any form that I signed. If this company has a problem with expedia payment maybe they should come off the listings for expedia instead of double charging the customer. This was my anniversary weekend and I had planned to spend my money in other ways hence why I prepaid the charged before my arrival! Very disappointed. Never again.

I’ll start with the Pros: - beautiful location: very peaceful - nice big and comfortable rooms - staff were pleasant Cons: - men’s sauna wasn’t working - men’s hot tub was a cold tub - the food is not the greatest - the restaurant atmosphere is non existent, we asked why there was no music. It was awkwardly silent and with only about 10 diners in a room that fits 250 it felt cold and awkward. There should also be better decor in the restaurant - table cloths, candles, music, etc. - the smell of the hotel wasn’t nice. You expect a resort like this to have nice scented smell throughout but the hotel halls smelt old and dusty. Overall my wife and I left disappointed with the experience.

Thank you for your feedback, please note that Hot tub is adjacent to the pool. The cold plunge tubs are in the locker rooms for use after exiting the steam and sauna rooms. Any questions do speak to the front desk manager on your next stay to have any concerns addressed while on site so they maybe look into immediately.

needs some help
this place is really unusual its situated in a lovely wooded area and on the service is it looks like a spa with all the amenties but thats the problem it only looks like that. Lets start with dinner i get that its vegetarian and a guest should not expect meat but to charge over 200 for a basic soup salad and "chicken" breast is not even reasonable or realistic. Also, its rather off putting to see 5 buckets to collect water that is dripping in the lobby and after reading other reviews i see this is a recent occurance either. Should i mention the charge of 25.00 for a beet juice in the gym area? Also speaking of the gym there were several things not working like the sauna and and also some of the hydro therapies. It gives me no pleasure to say this but I think this place needs to shut down and retool and decide what it wants to be. I will end with this note that the room itself was gorgeous, excellently appointed and very clean.

I was shocked, both positively and negatively..
When checking out, I was told by the front desk manager that I was 'seen with guests on the property' and as such will be billed for additional people. When I checked in, I was asked if I was alone, and I affirmed that I was. During my stay, I invited my sister and her 2 young kids to come by (who were staying at a nearby bungalow colony) since I was treating them to a nearby concert and we all wanted to go together. They didn't sleep at the property and simply came by so that we could go to this event together. This apparently constituted an additional guest matter that I was shocked that this property even brought to my attention. It felt incredibly cheap of them to try and squeeze money out of me upon checking out this way, and not to mention the fact that hearing 'I was seen with' anybody makes me believe that I'm being watched for whatever the reason. Aside from this, I was extremely disappointed that all saunas were out of service during my stay (and they have more than 3 types of saunas btw) and all of the extras that this resort offers which might be an argument for charging extra per additional guests were either not in service or just not available. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, and the pool was also very nice (the hours are limiting). Also, the breakfast was both fantastic and delicious. All-in-all, it is off-putting to me why they chose to even mention anything about extra people upon checking out considering everything on property was closed.

Very expensive. No coffee in the room. No sugar. Breakfast buffet begins at 8AM but I wanted an early tee time on golf course nearby but couldn't manage it. Goose poop in all outdoor walking areas.

This is not exactly a regular hotel but a facility focused on wellness, yoga, and various therapies. It is also adult-only. We were not fully aware of it so showed up with a toddler, and were checked in no problem, which later on made us fill a bit awkward :-) But everyone, staff and guests alike, was very nice. The facilities are overall really nice, unfortunately, when we were there the heater for the hot tubs did not work so they were more like freezing tubs... but the pool was good. A few other little things were not perfect (clogged sink in bathroom, smelly garbage bag near the elevator, coffee stains in the elevator). I wouldn't mind these as much if it was a low-cost chain hotel, but this is luxurious (>400$ for a couple in a room).
