"This is a beautiful property. Everything has been updated and is very beautiful. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the property was VERY clean. Melissa was great to work with. We were very pleased with our stay and would rent again. The only issue we had was that the doors upstairs to the bedrooms and bathroom stuck and were unable to be closed. I communicated this with the owner and she said she would fix the issue asap so I doubt it will be an issue moving forward. I would highly...

"Great property overall. The backyard overlooking the lake is fantastic and offers a ton of coverage from sun and rain. The main floor is spacious with plenty of room in the kitchen, living area and offers a large table to eat and/or play games at. The upstairs bedrooms are dependent on window AC units and can still get quite warm. Plus if the neighbor has a fire, some smoke comes inside."

"Perfect home and location for our family trip. We had the welcome homey feel right away. Everything you need is provided making it nice not to have to bring bedding or towels. The privacy and view from the terrace and deck was a great way to start your day and perfect for ending your day. 10 out of 10."

"We loved this house. The kitchen was stocked well, and the bedrooms were really comfortable. We really enjoyed the decks overlooking the lake. We also liked that we could tie our boat up at the dock at the house. We enjoyed swimming and fishing off the dock. The driveway to the house was a little narrow for our boat trailer but we parked our trailer next door at Lake Shafer Boat rentals since that is where we launched our boat. We hope to stay here again!"

"The home and property were beautiful! Communication with the host was great! They were very responsive. Our group consisted of 6 adults and we had amole room to spread out. We throughly enjoyed the water front. The views were incredible. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back."

"The lakeshore house met our needs for the 4 of us. The beds were comfortable. The renovations included some quality lighting and appliances but the rest was a work in progress. Additional lighting in the kitchen would have been helpful and as others said the furniture is sparse and could be cleaned. The access to the river is limited due to overgrown brush and decaying leaves, so swimming and floating are more for the adventurers. There isn’t a fire pit as advertised but a space with rocks and no seating areas. It’s a lovely view from the deck but the outside of the house is weedy and overgrown. We enjoyed the visit, went to a winery, golf, and boat rental made the trip a great time."
