The Chateau was wonderful. We enjoyed walking the grounds. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We also ate at the restaurant at the chateau. The dinner each night was fantastic. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone for a truly special experience

Fantastic stay in a real castle. Great staff on reception and warm welcome for us and our bikes. Had dinner in the restaurant which is located past the hotel's garden area so a little bit of a walk but well worth it for a tasty meal using their own ingredients. There were several stink bugs that came in through the window but easy to get rid of them and they were harmless but probably just the time of year and because we opened the window on the warm side of the building - however worth noting if you are super anti-bug. We would have appreciated a kettle in the room but you could get coffee etc brought up if required. Excellent breakfast with option for added eggs and bacon. Overall amazing opportunity to stay in such a fabulous location and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Really beautiful gardens and fun to explore.

The property would have benefited from some makeover especially with air conditioning. There was nothing to stop the mosquitoes from entering the room. The rooms we had were large and spacious. Breakfast was ok and dinner was subpar. The meals were not cheap either.

A real chateau. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Gorgeous lounge plus a big wooded area for walks. They also have a pool but I didn’t use it. No fridge or safe in the room. Not air conditioned but they provide a fan. Full of history with medieval ruins and 18th century manor house. Great place but I wouldn’t stay in summer because of the lack of air conditioning.

Staff was great! The breakfast was great! The classic old Chateau was beautiful and had been nicely modernized in the rooms while the main building still had its old charm. Wonderful to stay there.

Great stay - fancy but warm and easy going too! The paths and gardens were a joy to experience! The dinner was wonderful! The breakfast I would consider a little “light” but service GREAT. Lucas was excellent and fun. Our room was spacious, lovely, and quiet! Internet was not the best but then doing without it was good too! Great find, great stay!

Great stay

Beautiful and magical hotel. Breakfast was great. We loved the tennis court, you can get equipment for free. Big rooms. Nice walking paths around the chateu. We used an uber to get to and from the hotel. No elevators but we like stairs.

Best hotel room ever

Stop looking - stay here! The staff was kind and helpful and the property and chateau are gorgeous. One of the favorite places we've ever stayed. Take advantage of a wonderful dinner there or they also have good recommendations for local places to dine and visit. Highly, highly recommended.

The castle is amazing and the room was big and very comfortable. Breakfast is interesting as you need to tell them what you want (ie. coffee or tea, juice, cereal and what type) the night before. The property where the castle is is huge and has tons to explore. We loved our stay

La vie de chateau

Beautiful place in a quiet castle with friendly staff that will look after you super well. The castle is beautiful and if you love tomato take the time to visit the tomato garden with 700 species of tomatoes growing, absolutely amazing.

It was a 15th century château, it was a great and very rare experience to stay in the building like that. It was extensive garden. The château was well preserved with the necessary mod con added to make our stay very comfortable. Margot was very pleasant and helpful to theguests and had good suggestions for local places & vigneyards to visit. I would love to re-visit Loire valley and stay at the château again.

Beautiful château in a fantastic quiet setting. Able to accommodate parking my bicycle safely there. The room was well presented, tidy and well furnished. The lounge was great to sit and relax with a drink with drinks brought to your seat. Hot drinks also available. The breakfast was also very good with a good selection available of pastries, bread, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Freshly squeezed juice, excellent coffee.
