"Historic hotel near mid evil Castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very pleasant except for the toilet being in a closet separate from the bathroom. What's with the French and their separate toilet in a closet! Nice garden. Breakfast nice but eggs needed to be cooked longer. Helpful woman in the buffet. Walkable near lots of stores and restaurants in historic area."

"Very pleasant stay here very central for Carcassonne old town and new. Some maintenance issues in my room but nothing to spoil my stay. Very clean, staff very helpful and really polite. Food and service was excellent. Had dinner last night truly first class nd my food intolerances well catered for. Overall well worth it and I would say good value for money."

"This small hotel is right at the base of the medieval city of Carcassonne, and had amazing views of the ramparts from our room and from a small roof terrace. Staff were really helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants. The walls between rooms were a little thin, but the location was so quiet that we could sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a small hotel, and the beautiful garden next to the breakfast room was truly delightful. Highly recommended!"

"Great value, clean and modern with nice design touches, in the rooms and all around the hotel. The view of the Citadel from my window was enchanting by day and by night - and from the restaurant and rooftop, just breathtaking. A short walk to the Citadel or main town, restaurants all nearby. "This was terrific value for money and would happily stay again. While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. All in all, very good."
