Top Montolieu Hotel Reviews

Hôtel Montmorency

Hôtel Montmorency

10/10 Excellent
"A brilliant location in the shadow of the ramparts with an indoor and outdoor breakfast area. Breakfast isn't cheap, but it is value for money. A very short walk to the Narbonne Gate leading into the main streets of the citadel. My room was bright and funky, a short walk from the main building, with access to the outdoor pool and jacuzzi. There is also a peaceful, covered sitting area near the pool. 24 hour reception, with 24 hour available for drinks and snacks. There is a small but lovely spa area, with a pool and various treatments for couples and individuals. All the staff was charming and helpful. I didn't want to leave."

Hôtel Du Pont Vieux

10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful location with a rooftop view of Carcassonne itself. The room was ideal for four people and there were little nooks in the hotel where you could play games or read. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants on the street and it was a ten minute walk uphill to Carcassonne."

Hôtel Le Donjon - Coeur de la Cité Médiévale

8/10 Good
"Old hotel which could use some modernization. The rooms on the ground floor had a nice little terrace but if the doors slammed in the corridor the room would shake. Plus, we had a neighbour who smoked cigars outside our window, so made the room smell. The team moved us to a great quiet room, which was appreciated."
