"Great location and lovely amenities. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The bathroom totilet paper handle was broken, the conditioner was empty upon arrival, and one of the bedroom lamps wasn’t working. There was also a sign indicating that a white-noise machine and earplugs were available to help with the noise from the nearby streets, but these weren’t provided. That said, every staff member was lovely, and overall, we had a great stay. The property looks a little more upscale in the photos than it feels in person, but we booked it at a discounted rate, so it was worth it. I don’t think I would pay the full price, though."

"Stayed for 3 nights. Spacious room and staff were very helpful. Great location close to both old Montreal and downtown. The only complain i have is the a/c that is loud and the bathroom sink that drains slow. Service is awesome from reception to housekeeping. Was planning to check out late at 3pm but the lady in reception offered us until 2pm free of charge. Will definitely recommend this place!"

"Booked a room last minute. Because it was very last minute, we had to wait until the room was ready. They were able to accommodate quickly. The hotel location is good. It is close to a metro station and restaurants."

"The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth never disappoints. It's a beautifully-appointed historical hotel conveniently situated above the central CN Rail station. It's an easy walk to the shopping district, Mont Royal, McGill U, U Montréal, Vieux Montréal, museums, the Bell Centre and the port area. Upper floors have gorgeous views of Mont Royal and the Basilica. Roselys is exquisite, but pricey. What really sets it apart, though, are the staff - every single member of the team that we interacted with made us feel as if we mattered to them. There was a time when I would speak my Ontario school French and get major eyeball rolls - those days are gone. If I speak French, I am politely spoken to in French, which I greatly appreciate. Big shout out to the housekeeping team who even sweetly folded my partner's pjs. Merci beaucoup á tous."

"Staff was helpful and room was very comfortable. My only draw wa the daily room cleaning: no sheet or towel changes, trash was not removed and there is no breakfast even if you pay for it. But in all I would say above average, for the price and location (3 blocks aways from metro and performing arts quarter) it's a good deal."
