Where to start?? The property looks like an old Victorian character home from the pictures where in reality it’s a delapetated crack house that should honestly be condemned. Once you enter there is open electrical wires and bulb’s hanging from the ceiling, there are screws sticking out of the staircase railing, 70% of the house’s electrical didn’t work. We spent the whole time using our phones flashlight to navigate the house as soon as the sun went down. The house is literally falling apart. I measured from end to the other side of the room over a 16’ span 10” of drop. My wife and I had to move our heads to the opposite side of the bed so that blood didn’t rush to our heads while we slept. We had to find an out let in a bathroom to charge our phones and additional chargers. The lights didn’t work in any of our bedrooms. One of our guests found drugs underneath the bed and one of the basement rooms. The level of cleanliness was abysmal. There is no cooling in this place and it was a literal sweat box. The only good thing about this place is that it made us want to never be there so we got a good exploration of Montreal. Oh wait it had good water pressure. Other than that if I could give it less than 1 star I would give it a minus star. We had made a complaint and was promised some form of compensation which was never fulfilled. I am not one to complain but I have been a host before and not ever would I put a place like this on as a rental. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
