Beautiful breakfast supplies left for us, all very fresh. Hot tub ready which the children loved. Close to main shops, supermarket and restaurants. Quirky and memorable place to stay."

"The house being rented is the gaurds house next to the road. The yard is fully enclosed and gated. Our family 16 and 19 year olds really enjoyed this property. They got their own rooms with friends. They played pickel ball. We walked to the bakery. We saw fawns in the morning by the castle. The castle is needing renovations to the point that it is condemned. "Nice small studio but with some issues. Quite a few flies inside when I arrived. This is probably because it's on a farm with sheep. Found several long hairs in bathroom and on dining table which is gross. Bedsheet was rough stretchy material. No soap on arrival and I had to request it from the host. This sort of basic thing being overlooked is really not acceptable. The exterior photos do not reflect that a second guest property, called the Naisonette has been constructed next to this...

"Stayed here for 1 night in late September 2025. The hotel is stunning, with fantastic grounds and gardens. The breakfast was fantastic, and we didn’t expect the chocolate brownie, which was a nice treat. The evening fine dining was expensive but delicious, and the ales and beers from vexin were top notch. The grounds around the hotel feel very safe, and we were able to store 2 bicycles in an outside storage facility, which was secure."

The owners are so welcoming and the whole building is a comfortable, relaxed space. The garden terrace is very special. As for my room: it had loads of space, the bathtub is such a great feature (and incredibly clean, bravo on the detail work), and I slept like the dead. Would 110% recommend."

I don’t think there was aircon but we didn’t need it for our late September stay. We didn’t take breakfast at the hotel. "

"Very easy check-in at 23:45. The gate was closed for security, but the pedestrian access was open for me to walk in, the out of hours check-in machine wasnt on because there was a lovely man working at the desk, who checked us in no bother. On the key card was the code for the gate, which I walked back for my husband to drive into the carpark which had lots of availability. The rooms were comfortable and clean, very basic, but had Tvs & towels, perfect for our stop off, a place to rest after a long day traveling, before another long day traveling!"
