Independent cottage with terrace and garden. Former barn tastefully restored, offering an area of 96 m2. On the ground floor, large and bright living room with fitted kitchen area, dining room and living room. Upstairs 2 bedrooms welcome you, with 140 beds, bathroom, separate toilet and relaxation area.

Quiet, surrounded by greenery and close to major tourist sites, such as Conques, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Gouffre de Padirac, Figeac with its Champollion museum, Soulage museum in Rodez and others.

In the region many outdoor activities are available to you, such as canoeing, hiking,

Wonderful Aveyron Gite

Warm welcome from helpful hosts. Lovely areas for sitting and eating outside and the gite is comfortable and very well equipped. Excellent value for money and thoroughly recommended.

Montsales week.

Very quiet area, lovely house and garden. The hosts were great. But for any Brits they speak very little (none) English. Lovely towns to visit locally, lots of markets, a really good visit.

An amazing summer!

I stayed here for two months this summer and it was the perfect home away from home. The home is large and comfortable. The location is bucolic. Most importantly, the hosts were so welcoming and supportive. As a solo traveler, I appreciated their care and friendship.

A lovely gite

Jean Jacques and Denise were lovely hosts. The gite is a lovely property which is well appointed, and nothing was too much trouble for Jean Jacques and Denise who live nearby. The property is well located for visits to both the Lot and Aveyron valleys, where there is much to see and do. Highly recommended.

Exceptionnel. Maison très spacieuse et confortable,au calme dans un cadre authentique et magnifique arrangé avec goût. Les propriétaires sont charmants, chaleureux et discrets à la fois. Le gîte est très bien situé pour visiter les bastides du Rouergue et autres lieux. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir eu un temps magnifique. À recommander les yeux fermés ! Françoise et Jean Pierre

Séjour inoubliable, un petit coin de paradis pour les amoureux de la nature et du calme. Nos hôtes, Denise et Jean-Jacques ont fait de cet endroit un havre de paix, nous nous y sommes sentis tout de suite bien. Tout est reunis pour passer de bons moments. La maison est magnifique, agréable même quand il fait chaud. Il y a de nombreux lieux à visiter aux alentours, la descente du Lot en canoë a été un moment inoubliable. Denise et Jean-Jacques sauront vous conseiller selon vos envies. Les commerces sont situés à une dixaine de km.En résumé n'hésitez pas à réserver cette jolie maison.

Séjour au calme

Jean-Jacques et Denise sont des hôtes très accueillants et agréables. Gros coup de cœur notamment pour l'aménagement paysagé ainsi que les œuvres peintes par Denise. Le mas est idéalement placé, un vrai havre de paix (à la campagne mais proche des commodités). Le gîte est conforme à la description : propreté et fonctionnel. Malgré une météo capricieuse, nous avons beaucoup apprécié nos différentes balades et excursions (marché à Villeneuve d'Aveyron, Montsalès, Saut de la Moumine, Figeac et son musée Champollion, les nombreux villages, châteaux et Abbayes). Séjour parfait !

La maison est spacieuse et confortable (notamment la literie), bien équipée et joliment décorée. Les extérieurs (terrasse et jardin) sont très agréables. La région est magnifique. La superbe petite ville de Villeneuve et ses commerces (et marché) est à quelques minutes. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir. Les propriétaires - qui ont de nombreuses cordes à leur arc - sont d'une gentillesse rare! Recette parfaite pour un séjour ressourçant et stimulant. Nous reviendront très volontiers.

superbe

Une superbe location avec un grand confort et un environnement de rêve. La maison est très spacieuse, très fonctionnelle et super bien aménagée, sur un très vaste terrain arboré et fleuri, une terrasse à l'ombre d'un noyer et donnant sur les champs, où l'on peut prendre les 3 repas face à la nature. Jamais nous n'avons eu droit à un tel gîte en 40 ans de location. Les propriétaires Denise et Jean-Jacques sont adorables, conviviaux en plus d'être artistes (les preuves dans la déco de la maison) et ont été pleins d'attention. La cerise sur le gâteau c'est ce calme (pas de vis à vis) qui règne jour et nuit, nous permettant de savourer ce silence de la campagne, seulement interrompu par le chant des oiseaux et le souffle du vent appréciable pendant ces journées chaudes de juillet (la maison reste fraîche grâce à ses murs épais). La région est magnifique et à parcourir absolument, entre gorges des rivières Aveyron et Lot et villes/villages médiévaux à arpenter, impossible de s'ennuyer. Un grand merci à Denise et Jean-Jacques et bravo à eux pour avoir mis en valeur admirablement ce petit coin de paradis

Un concentré de bonheur

Du confort, du calme, une maison fonctionnelle facile à vivre avec des propriétaires charmants , discrets et sympathiques et en plus une région riche en histoire avec des activités pour les sportifs et les moins sportifs. Séjour exceptionnel

Nous avons passé une semaine magique dans ce gîte exceptionnel dans un environnement calme et verdoyant. Le parc est très beau, très vert et très fleuri. Pas besoin de voiture pour se balader dans la campagne environnante, Montsalès offre de nombreux chemins et petites routes pour marcher ou faire du vélo en toute tranquillité. La région vaut le détour : les gorges du lot, Cajac, Peyrusse le Roc , Villeneuve ... Et merci beaucoup aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil.

Accueil chaleureux. Gîte spacieux, décoré avec goût.Vaste espace vallonné devant la terrasse où il fait bon de prendre ses repas à l'ombre du noyer. Implantation du gîte près de La cité médiévale de Villeneuve en Aveyron.
