"We stayed here only for one night as there was limited possibility due to late booking. We highly recommend the hotel for couples planning to stay for up to a week in Moorea. There are good restaurants and a shop closeby so you do not per se need a car all days. Swimming and Kayaking of the coast was great, we even saw a turtle in the crystal clear water. "If you like big resorts it’s an ideal option for you - well maintained, great welcome, flowers in the room, nice staff, activities. Overwater bungalows are blocking the view and garden rooms are a bit dated. value for money is ok."

"Great location with eclectic charm. Wonderful to be right on the lagoon and watch the fish and sharks cruise by! Lots of comfortable seating areas to curl up with a book. They have a book filled with local eating spots and menus which was appreciated. Kayaks are available, although seems crazy to have an additional charge on top of room price. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There were some soft areas in the floor which is concerning since it was on the second floor."

"Was certainly a place that we would consider staying again and arnaud was excellent, but you must be aware that you are on the exact opposite side of the island of most of the commerce and activity. Not a big big deal as it’s only 25 to 30 minutes, but you will not find a restaurant or anything like that just down the street. there is a small family type store just across the street however for drinks and what not. Also, although the view is excellent the water immediately behind the property is not nearly as breathtaking as the water on the northern side of the island and around to the west side. It’s dark and I can’t tell you exactly why but it’s not really inviting like the water on the other side. It is a more beautiful blue maybe 200 m out and beyond but it’s just different. If you’re not gonna swim, it’s not a big deal. The area behind the rooms is a little Shangri-La as you can lay amongst the palm trees and weed or go to sleep or anything like that and it’s all private so that is a very, very nice feature. The pool was inviting, although I did not use it, and there was a Jacuzzi as well.. arnaud prepared some scrambled egg for us and they were awesome. I would not hesitate to stay there again, although if I wanted to be closer to the commerce and businesses, I would probably stay on the northern side of the island.."

"We had a wonderful stay at this Moorea place (Lagoon Dream). The property offers incredible value and a convenient location that made exploring the island effortless. We especially loved the pool, which is located just across the street right next to the ocean—a fantastic spot to relax with a beautiful view.Communication with the owner was great and timely from start to finish. The onsite support personnel was also fantastic and always ready to answer all of our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Moorea!"

"Jean and his family were very hospitable. The food was DELISH. We snorkeled and swam from the private beach. We enjoyed a private cabin with its own bathroom. I would return there for the price and culture. Most of the experience is quaint and family friendly. I enjoyed the porch the best. If you want room service and amenities it is more like staying with family. This was a great stay on a budget and we felt treated with value. Jean was knowledgeable to share snorkeling sites, hikes, dive areas, and more local info. The drinks were good, the food authentic. It wasn't over populated either like the large hotels."

"Our stay at Linareva Resort was simply magical and one of the highlights of our trip to French Polynesia. The location is breathtaking: the crystal-clear lagoon right in front of the resort feels like a natural aquarium, with colorful tropical fish swimming around the private pier. We spent so much time there just enjoying the incredible scenery. The tropical garden is beautifully maintained, full of lush palm trees and exotic plants, creating a peaceful paradise. The sea is absolutely spectacular, with unforgettable colors that almost don't seem real. The staff were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help. They gave us excellent advice and helped us organize tours around Moorea, making it easy to discover the island. One of our favorite moments was having dinner in the outdoor dining area under a sky full of stars. The atmosphere was so peaceful and romantic—it truly felt magical. If you're looking for an authentic Polynesian paradise, Linareva Resort is the perfect choice. We would return without hesitation!"

"We travel extensively but rarely leave reviews. This property is one that requires a comment. It is simply awesome. They were quite helpful with working around our schedule. The villas themselves are fabulous. We either made dinner at home with the well stocked kitchen or drove to eat out (walking to the nearby resort is an option), this would be the only downside if you didn't have a car."
