The Cabin at Caddo Crossing - for the vibe of an old-time lodge on the bayou!

A log cabin situated on a bluff 30’ above the lake bank, this home captures the feel of an old-time fish camp, and is on the edge of a small village in NW Louisiana. The spacious back porch features a northwestern view, and sunsets are not to be missed. We take our name from the historic draw bridge and train trestle nearby, where today the sound of the trains echoing over the water adds to a quaint feeling to a time gone by.

There is a free public boat dock about a quarter-mile away.

One of the best time

We had so much fun at this place. It was very nice and clean. The view was great you look over the lake and hear the boats and train while sitting on the deck at sunset. Thanks for letting me stay there. Lonnie

A true getaway

The cabin at caddo crossing surpassed all expectations, I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the amenities the host provided. The cabin was clean and was stocked with all the essential items needed for our stay. The home sits on a great lot overlooking Caddo Lake. If you’re looking for a fun fishing getaway or simply a relaxing change of pace, I think Caddo Crossing has a lot to offer.

Perfect lakeside getaway

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Mooringsport, Louisiana! The location right on the lake was absolutely perfect—stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and some of the best fishing I’ve experienced. Whether you’re looking to relax on the porch and enjoy the scenery or spend the day out on the water, this place has it all.The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sunrise over the lake was a highlight, and the quiet atmosphere made it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.If you’re looking for a serene lakeside retreat with great fishing and breathtaking views, I highly recommend this cabin. I’ll definitely be coming back!
