7 girlfriends and I had a fabulous stay at The Kite House. The room and bathroom count was perfect. The home is well equipped. Don’t miss the sunset view from the top deck!
There is little to say. The home was beautiful, the town was lovely and the beaches were very close. The radio island beach is fantastic for families with small children because the lack of surf compared to the Atlantic Oceanside beaches. We would 100 percent go again. The owners were also super responsive. Thanks for a great stay.
We had a wonderful stay in Beaufort and the house was everything we could have wished for!! Check in was clear and easy, the space was wonderful and the porches were thoroughly enjoyed! Communication was prompt during our entire stay and we would highly recommend this property to anyone! Very convenient to all the things Beaufort has to offer! Thank you!
We arrived from coast to coast for our second summer stay at Kite House. The house works very well for all of us. The two kitchens and living areas along with the number of bedrooms make it ideal for young, old and in between. The AC is terrific, making our August visit very comfortable. Kristen and Bradley are responsive and welcoming. thanks!
Perfect fit for our group. We have been diving in Beaufort for 15 years every June. We wish we had discovered this property sooner. While it is one of the higher priced properties we have rented it also did not over promise and underwhelm like many of the other properties we have rented.
We had an amazing stay! We were in town for a wedding and our entire family was able to stay in place very comfortably. The home is beautiful, is equipped with everything! Great location for all the happenings in Beaufort! The hosts were easy to contact and delightful. Only about 15 to 20 minutes from Atlantic Beach! Overall 10/10!!! Thank you for letting use your beautiful home!
The Kite House is a wonderful place to stay when you’re in Beaufort! The house is huge and well-appointed and the location cannot be be beat! Highly recommend!
Excellent home for hosting a large group. Short walk -or golf cart rid- to downtown and to Beaufort Hotel. Loved the large porches and the Widow's Walk views are amazing. Response from the host was quick and very supportive when needed. I do recommend this property but also recommend you read details and review the pictures. The spiral staircases may not be for everyone. If you are a frequent visitor to the area you know you could encounter pests so bring repellent and don't leave food and drink messes out overnight inside or outside of the house. Access to the back parking area is tight, you will have to fold in your rearview mirrors and it could intimidate some (so they can park out front). Host give great detailed instructions so read them thoroughly and communicate those to all of your group. We love the Beaufort area and will be back frequently.
We stayed here for my 30th birthday with friends and family and it worked out perfect for our needs. Very clean and large house that has everything you could need!
Our son was getting married and the family stayed in this house. It worked well for us and the owners allowed us to host a breakfast for our of town guests which was so nice. The location is good and there is a nice view from the top floor.
We highly recommend this property! We had a family beach week during July 4th.. plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean, and so nicely decorated. We appreciated the available pack-n-play and high chair for the little one. The views of Taylor’s Creek from the 3rd floor & widows walk are beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.
Great location! Great house, walking distance to Beaufort! Gorgeous views! The host were very friendly and easy to work with! Will definitely stay there again! All bedrooms have TVs. Only negative… 5 of the bedrooms are very small!

Very Nice Visit
The property was beautiful and very clean. Great views from the third floor balcony and widows walk. About a mile walk to the historic area and shops, but it is a nice walk along the water. Beaufort is a great place, with very good restaurants and outdoor opportunities. Our group very much enjoyed a trip out to Shackleford Bank.
