    The Space:

    This luxury mountain cabin features floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular river views, a beautiful firepit area, and a new private hot tub (installed in June 2021) to welcome you home from your daily excursions.



    Drop your bags in the expansive, open-concept living area to unwind beneath vaulted ceilings with a nice glass of wine.The deck is enormous and great for hosting get-togethers with friends and family. There's also a large flat yard with easy access to the creek, plenty of room for family games outside, and a screened-in gazebo and two benches where you and your loved ones can enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. But tonight, select a movie from the DVD library to enjoy with lots of salty snacks, courtesy of the full kitchen.



    What's nearby:

    There are all kinds of fantastic opportunities to explore the mountains around you. Hike to the Swinging Bridge or the waterfalls, or head 18 miles south into Blue Ridge to enjoy a fantastic meal at one of the local favorites, such as Hi 5 for awesome burgers, fries, BLTs, and biscuits. You've also got close to a gazillion awesome outdoor activities right at your fingertips, including paddleboarding, tubing, horseback riding, kayaking, and ziplining, so there's always somewhere to go during your stay!

Beautiful cabin! The deck in the back in the Riverview are spectacular! Everything was perfect in the hot tub was very inviting! Only minor issue was you may want to bring your own bottled water because of the very slight sulfur smell of the well water. We will definitely look forward to staying there again in the future!

We had a very enjoyable vacation at this home! It’s positioned perfectly on the water with a canopy of black oak trees. We just wished we had brought a broom because the leaves are falling! The home is very comfortable and a joy to stay in.

A wonderful getaway :) We spent our days relaxing by the creek, drinking coffee on the porch, hiking the nearby trails and exploring Blueridge. It was the perfect place for my family of 5’s annual fall vacation.

Great cozy place

Sitting on the deck so close to the creek was amazing! The house was comfortable but the internet connection was a little inconsistent and made streaming shows and movies difficult.

Nature Sanctuary just 15 minutes from town

This house was a pretty perfect, we would love to come back during the summer months, the location is perfect and the house has all you could ask for. Comfortable living room, spacious bedrooms, perfect patio and the creek. It was only myself, my husband and 9 year old, it was the perfect size. Even though its 15 minutes from town, it feels very secluded, there was no cell service but AMAZING wifi. We will be back.

Magical week at Creekside Retreat

We had a fantastic week at a beautiful cabin. The house was well equipped, comfortable and the proximity to the water was amazing. The hot tub was clean and functioned properly (always a big ? at weekly rentals) I can understand previous reviews about the driveway if it used to be gravel,as it is a steep decline, but they have paved it and we had no issues coming in or out. We hope to do it again soon!

Absolutely beautiful location

This property is located on one of the most serene and beautiful creeks I have seen. It is situated at the end of a very small country road at the bend of a creek and feels enchanting and private. The hot tub is fantastic. The exterior deck and furniture surfaces need to be de-mildewed and given a fresh coat of paint, however. And the interior surfaces need a freshen-up coat of paint as well. The house has very good bones and addressing these cosmetic items would do a lot to improve the experience.

Overall good stay

It was an overall good stay. The hot tub, in my opinion needs a thorough cleaning. There was dirt build up under the grey adjustment knobs. There was also no chloride in the floater and none for us to put in it. The hot tub acquired a smell to it after a day of use. The indoor portion of the house was great. No real complaints.

Great, peaceful retreat

We had a fabulous time at Creekside Retreat. You shouldn’t have any problem getting to the cabin in your car, the steepest part of the road has been repaved and the flat area is gravel. The creek is beautiful and flows along the very large deck. We spent most of our time sitting by the creek or in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked but if you are cooking you might want to bring some spices, there is salt and pepper in the cabinets. Bedrooms/bathrooms are nicely updated and provide all you will need for your stay. They don’t have cable/local channels, you will need a streaming service, there is one Roku enabled TV. No problems with WIFI.

Beautiful Property and Surroundings

The property was lovely. The house was nice and it is surrounded by forest and a river. The hot tub, river and woods provide hours of fun for curious kids. Lots of books and some games were provided. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the cool winter air. The hot tub did have some trouble staying hot (probably due to the cold temperatures outside). My only complaint is with Wilscot lane. It is a one lane paved drive going in and out and it is steep. There is almost no edge to the main road so going in and out of the property was unsettling.
