"Perfect spot for my husband, dog and I to relax for a few days. We loved watching the birds enjoy the lake from the deck and having a fire by the water at night. The trains do go by a couple times a day, but we didn’t mind the noise."

"We loved our stay at the Middlebury Inn. It was cozy, quiet, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect - close enough to easily walk to downtown Middlebury. The property is beautifully maintained, with lovely landscaping and gardens, and the delicious buffet-style breakfast each morning was a wonderful bonus. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Vermont!"

"Very nice, clean cabin. Beautiful view. We had a relaxing stay in this roomy cabin. Well equipped with everything one would need. We enjoyed visiting the local sites, Fort Ticonderoga etc. and drove to Vermont over the bridge and took on the beautiful scenery.Our little dog enjoyed the stay as well with a huge lawn."

"It was a very convenient location. There is a restaurant/bar, which was nice. The woman at the desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our stay and would stay there again."

"Stayed here for two weeknights mid-ish August 2026. Service was really great. Very professional and courteous. The rooms were nice enough. Ours was pretty spacious with a balcony with not much of a view (guess that is what you get for only $400/night). Pretty pricey during summer time. That said, the setting and grounds are spectacular. As they stress, a very traditional NE summer resort. We did not eat there at all and didn't partake of much of the entertainment they had to offer, but my daughters loved the ambiance, the historical buildings, the sunsets, and scenery. While we didn't partake of much of the entertainment, we could see it all around us. Regret is not spending enough time here (we treated it more like a hotel than a resort)."
