"The property is absolutely beautiful. The pools on the outside and inside are very nice and clean. The property is well maintained with a staff working diligently around the clock to preserve its beauty. There is a pretty awesome dinner and show sponsored by Le Petite Chef that is very nice and extremely affordable compared to the one in Delhi. The rooms are very nice, I stayed in a suite on the upper floor. Im not personally the biggest fan of Portuguese style, but it was done well. Again, I cant rave enough about how beautiful the property looks. On to the bad. The security will scrutinize the hell out of you. On multiple occasions I would walk by a guard and 5 mins later walk by the same guard and I would get the 3rd degree. I was on the property for 3 nights and I only left once, but I was questioned at least 20 times about if I was actually staying at the hotel. It was as if they were in disbelief. Lastly, a special thanks to the superstar TANAYA. From the second I checked in to the the moment I checked out, she was diligent and a powerhouse with resolving the most complicated and simple situations for me. She went above and beyond and never made me any false promises. I was there for a business trip and I was extremely busy and she took a huge weight off my shoulders. I had a really great experience and it was mainly due to her efforts to organize things. She should be promoted to hotel manager, she is an asset for the hotel! Overall, I give this place a two thumbs up"

"Honestly, one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. The staff were absolutely amazing and there was nothing you could do that was a bother. On arrival we were greeted by Nikhil who swiftly had drinks sent our way and our rooms checked in, all while we were able to relax on the sofas. Genuinely the best check in experience I’ve ever had. He was our main point of contact after this, making sure we always knew where to go, what to do and made sure we were looked after at all times. It really felt like a VIP experience. Outside of this, the hotel was great, an amazing spa and fantastic restaurants. Huge thanks to the team as they really went above and beyond. Can’t recommend enough."

"Our 2-night stay at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt warm, seamless, and truly luxurious. The hospitality extended throughout the property was outstanding. Bagwant from the security team stood out for his courteous and attentive approach, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring everything felt safe and comfortable. We also deeply appreciate Haydin, the duty manager, who handled an issue we encountered with remarkable efficiency and professionalism, it was resolved so quickly that it barely disrupted our experience. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking views, beautifully maintained spaces, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. Every detail, from the rooms to the service, reflects the high standards you expect from Taj. Overall, it was a memorable stay, made even more special by the wonderful team. "The property is spread out. Some of the rooms are in a four plex building, while some are single chalets or duplexes. Dining restaurants are quite far from the majority of rooms, requiring walking or taking a golf cart ride. The buildings are generally well maintained as are the grounds and landscape. The rooms are spacious but the bathrooms ( relative to the square footage) are small. The resort has plenty of staff, but there is no sense of prompt customer service. From the room if one calls for service there is no one at the other end to answer or concern. One has to take the trek to the lobby, only to get an apology. We arranged a ride into Pajim to get there at a specific time time; however, the ride didn't show up on time, and finally did after much complaining. Again all we received was an apology. The much-touted Caravela was a disappointment. Old and very dark, and the service rather slow. Food was okay, but not befitting the Taj standards. The sister resort next to the HV has better restaurants, and one in particular - Paper Moon ( Italian Specialty) had the best service offered. What we didn't appreciate was that kids were allowed into a fine dining restaurant. One already gas to cope with kids in the pool and public spaces. Fine dining restaurants should a reprieve for guests to enjoy meals and drinks in a quite and serene space, following an hectic and chaotic day out and about. So for couples and those travelling in an adult group be cautious booking."
