They tend to be dated, not perfectly kept up, in need of cleaning, noisy, or with half-hearted service, a classic Rio complaint. Arena Leme was different. Everything crisp, new, clean, well maintained up. Service attentive and courteous. No need to even mention the fabulous views and location in the quietest corner of Copacabana /Leme beach, which still means it's buzzing with activity. Well done, Arena. "

The location was perfect—close to everything (beach, Sugarloaf, RioSul, and more). The food was great, and the spa massages were amazing. We’ll definitely be back!"

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to board my flight because I didn’t have the required visa to enter Brazil — a last-minute issue that completely changed my plans. "A lovely hotel just one block back from the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. The roof top bar and pool are great. My only slight negative is the staff at the roof top bar weren’t very friendly and I had to go to the bar to order food even though they were just stood around chatting. Reception staff were great. "
