"The house is located rural, next to a unpaved road en a small stream. It is not luxury but wel equipped and comfortable. It offer a lot value for money. Due to the trees it is relatively cool on hot summer days. In Lormes , which has a nice atmosphere, there are supermarket, several good shops for food and some cafe’s. The surrounding is suited for some shorter day trips and for walking. For cooling down on hot days there is a small lake at a 15 minutes walk from the house"

"Truly rural getaway holiday home. Amazing views all around. Everything we needed in the house. Spiral staircase a little challenging but we were aware of that before we booked. Definately need a car for getting around but we loved the peace and quiet and lots of great places to visit easily accessible. Would recommend"

"We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"We had a lovely weeks stay with 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 7-16) The house is well equipped and owners were friendly and helpful. It did help that my husbands mum and step dad speak fluently french as we may have struggled a bit otherwise with instructions regarding the spa and other bits. The pool was great and the house had plenty of room for the 12 of us. I think if anymore were staying you would need to be prepared to stay on the sofas that change into beds in common areas. Equipped for social gatherings, with ample gardens the mill is situated in beautiful countryside. If you want easy access to the bustle of town and city life, it's not for you. "Merci à Brigitte et son mari pour l’accueil et les surprises, trop bien 😀 Le gîte est comme décrit et très chaleureux, calme et sérénité au rendez-vous. L’endroit est idéalement situé pour decouvrir Alesia et bien d’autres lieux.Dijon en train comme nous l’a conseillé la propriaitaire est vraiment facile d’accès. Il ne manquait que le soleil. A refaire pour continuer à visiter cette belle region et deguster vins et nourritures."

"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. Lovely location very convenient for site seeing and shopping."
