About this property

Gone Fishin' | Designer Home | Beach Access

  • Summary:

A brand-new, designer-finished lake house steps from a private sandy beach on Lake Winnipesaukee — where a dock, mountain views, and a "Gone Fishin'" spirit set the tone for your whole stay. Sleeps 8 across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, with a magazine-worthy kitchen, multi-level decks, fire pit, outdoor shower, and a basement stocked with floats, life vests, and beach gear. This is the Lakes Region vacation your family has been planning.

    The Space:

Welcome to Gone Fishin' — a brand-new, custom-built lake house in Moultonborough, NH, where the design is sharp, the views are real, and the water is just steps away. From the moment you walk in, it's clear this isn't a typical vacation rental. Wide-plank hardwood floors, sage green cabinetry with brass hardware, and an open-concept main level that flows from a designer kitchen straight out to a covered deck — all with Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding mountains framing the view.

The kitchen is the centerpiece of the main level, and it earns that title. Sage green shaker cabinets floor to ceiling, a large waterfall island with seating for four, gas range, farmhouse sink, stainless French door refrigerator, and a dedicated Keurig and drip coffee bar. Whether you're making breakfast for eight or cooking dinner after a full day on the water, this kitchen is built for it. A second dining table seats six under a statement cage chandelier, with sliders opening directly to the covered main deck — so the indoor-outdoor flow is seamless.

The living room anchors the other end of the main level with leather seating, plaid armchairs, a smart TV, and windows on three sides that let the treeline and lake peek in from every angle. It's relaxed and comfortable — the kind of room that pulls everyone together at the end of the day.

    ★ The Bedrooms ★

The primary suite lives on the upper level, and it delivers. Vaulted ceilings, a king bed, warm rattan pendant lighting, a dedicated workspace, and a private slider opening to the upper balcony — where the lake and mountain backdrop is as good as anything on the water. A true retreat for adults.

The bunk room is purpose-built for kids and younger guests: sky-blue walls, soaring vaulted ceilings, two full bunk sets plus an additional twin, a Moravian star pendant, and camp-style décor that makes it the most popular room in the house for kids. Sleeps up to five.

On the main level, the third bedroom features a king bed on an iron frame, sage green walls, brass reading lamps, and a window that looks out to the cedar outdoor shower — a quiet, private space that works perfectly for parents, grandparents, or guests who want to stay on one floor.

    ★ The Bathrooms ★

Two full bathrooms serve the home. The upper-level bath features a teal vanity, a large round gold-framed mirror, and a walk-in shower stocked with mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers — hotel-quality touches you'll notice right away. The main-level bathroom mirrors that same elevated finish with sage walls and a tub/shower combo.

A dedicated laundry closet with a full-size Samsung washer and dryer is available for longer stays.

    ★ The Outdoors ★

Three levels of outdoor living give this home serious summer range. The covered main deck runs the full width of the home with a dining table, lounge seating, and direct sliders from the dining areas. Step up to the upper private balcony off the primary suite for your morning coffee with a mountain-and-lake backdrop. Down at ground level, the fire pit circle — with 8+ Adirondack chairs — is where the evenings happen. A gas grill and picnic table sit just off the fire pit area for outdoor cooking and dining. The cedar outdoor shower is a practical luxury after a day at the beach.

In the basement, guests will find a collection of lake gear to borrow: pool floats, life vests, beach chairs, and a wagon for hauling it all down to the water. Note: kayaks, canoes, and watercraft are owner property and not available for guest use.
