In the Rance Valley halfway between Millau and Albi, the gîte is located in the small hamlet of Prohencoux. Surrounded by nature, surrounded by pastures, woods and streams, you will enjoy the calm and beauty of the Aveyron landscape. Welcome to a paradise for nature lovers. It is an old independent stone house, arranged on three levels. Located five kilometers from Belmont sur Rance, it is on the edge of a small stream, the Albespy and at the foot of a hiking trail. After a day of visits to the exceptional site of Rougier and the Grands Causses Natural Park, you will relax in the large lounge in front of the typical Aveyron fireplace. Castles (Brousse, Coupiac, Montaigut, St Izaire), Sylvanes Abbey, Roquefort caves, Tarn valley are many destinations to discover nearby.

Béatrice et Jean Claude nous ont très bien accueilli, la maison était très confortable bien qu’un peu froid (nous avons eu beaucoup de pluie et grisaille). La cuisine est grande et bien équipéé salon confortable.

Le gite dans une maison ancienne a tout à fait correspondu à nos attentes.La maison ,très confortable, allie l'attrait de l'ancien et le confort moderne .Le ruisseau qui coule au pied de la maison ajoute au charme de l'endroit.La terrasse permet de prendre les repas à l'extérieur avec une vue exceptionnelle sur les paysages environnants.La situation du gite permet de rayonner dans l'Aveyron et le Tarn pour y admirer les charmants villages et les nombreux centres d'intérêt.Un très grand merci à nos hôtes Béatrice et Jean-Claude dont nous avons apprécié la prévenance , le sens de l'accueil et l'humanité.

Nous étions 6 amies en Aveyron pour randonner et visiter. Ce gite dans une maison ancienne était parfait, frais et calme, le hameau paisible avec ses bois, ses potagers et la petite rivière. Une terrasse pour prendre l'apéro ou jouer aux cartes.

Bon Séjour dans un gite typique et agréable

Gite ancien et bien emménagé, il y fait tres frais en periode de grosse chaleur, une riviere court à proximité et on peut s’y baigner dans une piscine naturelle. La région du sud Aveyron est à découvrir avec ces chateaux, ces caves de roquefort, ces mines, ces nombreux villages classés et beaucoup de parcours de randonnées.

Séjour en automne

Nous avons séjourné dans une maison assez spacieuse pour 8 personnes: Une grande cuisine bien équipée,un salon confortable et accueillant, notamment grâce à une très belle cheminée et à une décoration en accord avec le style de la maison. L'environnement naturel est lui aussi très appréciable, entre campagne et forêts les promenades y sont belles. Des monuments ou villages médiévaux à quelques kilomètres ajoutent une touche culturelle appréciée par les grands comme par les petits.Pour finir Jean-Claude et Béatrice sont des hôtes charmants et généreux qui mettent tout en oeuvre pour que les voyageurs passent de supers vacances. Je recommande donc cette belle maison à Prohencoux à un groupe de personnes souhaitant passé quelques jours dans un lieu encore autenthique

Dans un endroit paradisiaque dans cette maison au pied de la montagne, à 2 mètres d’un petit ruisseau qui fait la joie des petits comme des grands nous avons passé 5 jours. Super confort où il ne manque rien’ si vous aimez cuisiner il y a tout le nécessaire Sont également à notre disposition livres, jeux de société pour jouer dans un salon très confortable agrémenté d une très grande cheminée merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil très chaleureux et leur disponibilité M.philippe

Un séjour exceptionnel dans ce coin de nature formidablement beau ! Nous étions venu pour passer un temps en famille et entre amis et nous avons avons été séduits par les montagnes arborées, les rivières rafraîchissantes, la simplicité de ce lieu vraiment très ressourçant. L'accueil plein d'attention et de gentillesse des propriétaires n'est pas étranger à ce séjour réussi. Nous conseillons ce lieu à tous ceux qui veulent "deconnecter" !

Nous avons apprécié le calme du hameau, la petite rivière dans laquelle les enfants ont aimé jouer.la maison était adapté pour la famille avec le confort nécessaire. Pas de réseau, pas de wifi, une bonne occasion de faire un break avec ce monde hyper connecter. Les hôtes et les gens du village nous ont réservé un très bon accueil. La confiture de mûre offerte à notre arrivée était excellente.

Pleine nature , calme, et confort

Nous avons été très bien reçu dans ce gîte confortable , très bien équipé , situé dans un environnement magique , ( pleine nature, ruisseau, fraîcheur de la maison, l’endroit idéal pour décrocher et savourer ses vacances un peu hors du temps ,ça fait un bien fou ! Super vacances dans le sud de l'Aveyron

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable au gîte de Béatrice et Jean-Claude, qui est une demeure très ancienne, dans un hameau très calme au bord d'un ruisseau, dans un environnement très agréable, très bien situé avec plein de choses à faire en restant dans le sud, entre villages de caractère, châteaux, marches, baignade... Nous nous sommes régalés, Béatrice et Jean-claude sont charmants et sont attentifs au bon accueil de leurs hôtes, la maison est certes un peu datée mais c'est ce qui fait son charme et elles est très bien équipée, nous y avons merveilleusement dormi et vécu. Il est possible de déplacer la table pour se mettre à l'abri sous un arbre ou en bordure de ruisseau. Tout y est calme et reposant. Vacances merveilleuses

Séjour en Aveyron début juillet 2021

Malgré les caprices de la météo notre séjour reste inoubliable. Des propriétaires charmants, très à l'écoute dans un petit hameau chargé d'histoires dans un pays de légendes. Nous recommandons vivement pour tout ceux que la nature enivre et pour la douceur de vivre, un grand "lâché prise" vous attends. Merci à Béatrice et Jean Claude.

Lovely visit

We had a wonderful time with friends at Jean Claude and Beatrice’s house. They were accommodating and gracious. The kitchen was well-stocked and the nature surrounding the house was breathtaking. We’ll come back!
