Checkin was easy and the attendant friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the down comforter! My only complaint is the electrical outlets and bedside lamps and outlets didn’t work.The outlets by the sink worked and there was a power strip for the tv/fridge/microwave and lamp which was across the room from the bed.

Very good for a last-minute booking for the North Wilkesboro Race.The place was clean ( except behind the bathroom doors right in that corner) The beds were comfortable with good pillows and the towels we high quality. Air conditioning worked well, and an 11:00 check out is the best!

Everything about this little inn is absolutely amazing! The rooms are updated and nicely appointed and Sam was an amazing host. We are headed back in November.

they did not provide breakfast . that being said, the price left plenty of room to secure breakfast elsewhere. I would not change a thing about this location in Dobson,NC. We will return in the future when visiting the Shelton Vinyards

Wasn’t expecting much from this property as it was a motel, older property. I was very pleasantly surprised as the room were very clean and had been updated. Staff was pleasant! I’d stay here again and recommend this place

Nice staff. Manager was helpful. Older property but in good condition. Had coffee available but nothing in the way of food or snacks. There is a very nice small diner next door with great food and very reasonable prices.

Not a bad little place for no frills

About what one would expect in a small town motel. There were no specific problems and it was reasonably quiet. We had to change one of our rooms because the AC wasn't working. Otherwise, it's a clean no-frills facility, but the TV, microwave and fridge worked and was quiet.

We stayed here in October and while extremely dated we felt the bed was comfortable and the we were trying to outrun a hurricane and it was a warm bed. So we decided to stay there again. Front desk staff was great. The room had a deep musty smell to it. There was one outlet behind the bed and that had an extension cord plugged into it. A bedside lamp was plugged into that....it didn't work. Nothing plugged into the extension cord or outlet worked. There was a power strip across the room with 4 items plugged into it. There was a spot for 2 other items. Both times the bathtub/shower showed extreme signs of wear. The framing around the door looked like it had been repaired after being kicked in. In short, we will most likely not stay there again....non-functioning electrical outlets and the use of power strips and extension cords is concerning.

This property looked nice for its age and the parking lot and grounds were clean . Our room was clean as well, just a few cosmetic issues with the baseboard and tube area but nothing that really mattered. We would stay there again.for the price compared to the Hampton Inn across the street.
