Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we were unable to check in until 4pm for our overnight stay and we had to check out by 10am the next morning. Paying $370 for one night and not being able to even stay for a 24 hr period in our room is quite unfair.
Otherwise the staff and dinner were amazing and the room was cozy.
Overall the hotel is clean and well kept. My only minor issue was that the room had a bad smell, which I think was because it had been locked up all summer and I was likely the first guest since last snow season (~8 months).
Everything is well desighed. Skii/board storage on the ground floor also allows you to park your luggage when waiting for a pick up. Dry room on the first floor for the other gears. Then the reception/rental shop at the front with very friendly/helpful staffs. There is also a restaurant in the same building, food was ok but service was exceptionally. We ended up spent all three evening there for dinner. If you are looking for a convenient and functional place to stay while focusing on the snow, then Duck Inn is perfect.

Stayed at the Duck Inn for 3 nights. Overall the venue itself, whilst renovated, is quite dated. But it’s cozy and the staff are lovely - except maybe at times there isn’t enough of them so cleaning up may be lagging (breakfast time). The sound travels (often heard people walking above us) but we had a baby so used a white noise machine and it was fine. The room we stayed in was super clean and comfortable - even the heating was super warm that we didn’t even need doonas! The restaurant downstairs offers delicious food for dinner but their continental breakfast could use some love - perhaps throw in some bakery goods and pastries and some cheeses or something - pretty basic esp for those staying more than one night. But overall somewhat over-priced for what it is - would rate it a 3 star. If you are looking for somewhere cozy to stay on the mountain that won’t break the bank and you don’t mind basic - this is your place!
The hotel is in a very good location. Exit the hotel and you will see snow everywhere. Our hotel's fire alarm was broken. The rest of the hotel was very good.

Just an experience for my overseas friends by staying overnight at the resort. No complaints
We stayed there one night , beautiful room friendly staff , the best thing is snow in our balcony , we all love it our friend friend love it as well , very good experience .
Room 204 has a good view and is warm enough. I would suggest the common area can open during the daytime; breakfast time may open at 7:00 or 7:30 for someone who wants to start skiing earlier
the property was bigger than my expectation. bathroom was clean, shower was hot. Cant really complaint much about the room. The only downside is the dinning restaurant was closed on Monday and the location is a bit far from the village.

Hard to say as there wasn't much snow for ski in ski out
Definitely not enough space to hang up your clothes
Rooms very average..won't go there again
We knew coming in the room was small, that has no issue here.
It feels as though the business model is pay us and leave us alone.
Everything was too hard from from arrivals to departure and breakfast.

Should pay attention to the water boiler. It was very dirty with black sediment at the bottom
The hotel was smelly, dirty and had terrible staff morale, especially from the management. We experienced: terrible plumbing smell throughout the accommodation (like sewerage), no TV controller (therefore no TV), dirty bathroom floor, broken curtains, rain leaking into bathroom, shower leaking onto toilet area, no WiFi in room, incomplete restaurant menu, rude ski shop attendant, old, dirty ski equipment: ill-fitting helmet, unmatched ski poles, kept waiting by manager who wouldn't help because he was 'asleep' (8.15am-10.00am). I'll never go back again.

The room was clean and comfortable in great condition.
The breakfast supplied was terrible, cold pancakes, instant coffee and white bread for some toast. And during the day you couldn't access the bar or coffee machine whilst waiting for transports or having some down time. As a hotel and not serviced apartments I would expect more options available to you as there are no microwaves or fridges in the room.
Overall disappointed.
Needs a huge renovation…. It’s shocking that this permitted in Victoria.
No extra blanket, no extra cushion - the fake leather lining the bunk beds ripped. The cupboards didn’t close.
Why give me Red Bull ? Just give me water, in the most beautiful nature surrounded by fake leather, old towels suitable for dogs… and curtains as though we had landed in Mumbai?…The Argentine guy Coco was amazing, the Italian girl & the cleaning staff very helpful.
The Duck Inn needs a Reno or it should close down. The restaurant was sad… very sad.
A simple hearty menu - with good vegetables & bread. Simple protein is all you need after a strong day sking.
I don’t need frozen scallops, frozen, tuna, frozen salmon…. $310. Dollars after ?…
Let’s be realistic- everyone is doing it hard, but the balance is necessary. As the location is further out of town the restaurant at night is a plus but not at that price.
Breakfast was non existent!! Slice of toast or cereal- no soy milk… nothing.. ridiculous.
