About this property

Family Cabin w Hot Tub and View; Dogs Welcome

  • Welcome to Three Cedars Cabin, where comfort, convenience, and thoughtful touches come together in a breathtaking mountain setting. Just 30 minutes from Whistler and 15 minutes from Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, the cabin offers a spacious screened-in patio, BBQ, wood-burning fireplace, board games, multiple living and dining areas, and a well-equipped kitchen. Take in spectacular views of Mt. Currie from the hot tub, then unwind on comfortable mattresses with organic cotton sheets.

    The space
The home is conveniently located just one turn off Highway 99, on the route connecting Pemberton and Lillooet, where the highway slows to 50 km/h just before the Mount Currie neighbourhood. The property is easy to find and offers a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area.

During the peak summer months of July and August, guests may occasionally hear louder vehicles such as motorcycles passing along the highway, particularly between approximately 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Mature trees and privacy fencing provide a natural visual barrier, while evenings are very quiet and peaceful.

The location is especially well suited to guests who plan to spend their days exploring the incredible surrounding area and want a convenient, comfortable and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day.

    Other things to note
    • Security & house rules: Nest doorbell on-site. No parties, unregistered guests, or pets beyond those registered at booking. 🚭 Non-smoking property.

    • Bugs & wildlife: We are located in a semi rural area where bugs are part of nature. During summer bugs can be prevalent. Bug spray and loose layers are recommended June–September, as well as keeping the doors closed to not let them inside. If any do happen to find they way in there is a fly trap and racket that can be used to mitigate. Bears are commonly seen from summer through late fall, and neighbourhood dogs are present year-round. For this reason, never leave food or garbage outside or in the screened porch.

    • Dogs: dogs welcome at $40/dog. Please register pets when booking. No cats or other animals.

    • Outdoor space: The front yard is exclusively for guests and is suitable for pet potty breaks. No sidewalks or trails directly from the cabin, but many great walks and hikes are a short drive away.

    • Privacy: The host lives in a separate home at the back of the property, well beyond typical neighbour distance and screened by trees. The home is partially visible from some cabin windows.

    • Vintage cabin: Built in 1959, the cabin features original fir floors and rustic beams, along with the quirks of an older home. The basement has lower ceilings and a steeper staircase.
