"This beautiful and extremely comfortable home is in the small and quiet village of Bernard. The house is very well stocked and provides an excellent night’s sleep. The wharf and an adorable library are just a 5 minute walk away. The house is 30 min from Bar Harbor and 10 minutes past SW Harbor but near delicious lobster, trails (Wonderland & Ship Harbor), and Bass Harbor Light House. The house is so welcoming and a great place to relax after a day of hiking and exploring. "

"This truly was the perfect getaway. Our first (but not last) visit to Acadia and the Yurt was the best way to experience it! "Long Pond Cottage is a literal piece of heaven. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything you need. The view of the lake is the best! On top of that you can watch the loons swim by, hear them calling up the lake, and easily put a kayak in from the dock the explore and relax. This was our second year staying at the cottage and we will definitely be back!"

"Five stars for this budget-friendly motel in an ideal location in busy Bar Harbor! We stayed four nights while cycling through Acadia National Park. It was a short ride to the park and an even shorter walk to the bars and restaurants in BH. Natalle and Susie in the office were wonderful and made sure that there was always hot coffee available. Our rooms were spotless. "
