"We really enjoyed our stay and found ourselves wishing we were staying more than one night. Laurette was so nice, and the room was really cozy with an amazing view of the river. There were also some nice walking paths a few hundred meters from the hotel. "

"Staff friendly and helpful. The room was not large but adequate, and well equipped. Plenty of towels etc. Quiet. Air con/heating efficient. Each unit painted a different colour and lots of plants around make for a lovely aspect. Recommended!

"Clean comfortable. Good little kitchen. With salt pepper sauces etc. Some cereal etc if you didn’t take your own. Coffee sugar tea.
Milk in the fridge.
We were working just in Glenorchy, so perfect for 3 men. (Or great for families). Nice views.
Leave your shoes outside!
Great stay. Thanks. "
AMAZING ICONIC 5-✨️ LUXURY WATERFRONT MANSION RETREAT ON THE FAMOUS RIVIERAWALK
10/10 Excellent
"My mother turned 90 in October in Lindisfarne, Tasmania so my wife and I decided to find a house in the Hobart area to take the whole family from Perth WA to celebrate. We were a party of 8 adults and 7 children (aged 5-14) and the house at Old Beach looked as tho it would accommodate all of us. It surpassed our expectations. So much space - living areas upstairs and down enabled us to have some adult time separate from the kids; bedrooms and beds galore; a huge entertainer’s kitchen and massive dining table - where we catered a lunch for 21 people comfortably; a magnificent master suite; multiple balconies; and spectacular views from the floor to ceiling windows. The property ran down to the river - there were rabbits, water birds and even a couple of seals visited. The Old Beach path was just outside our door for walks, and the house was only 15 minutes from Hobart. We had the most incredible week and I can’t recommend the house highly enough. A huge thank you to our host Mark."
