"We have stayed here annually for several years. Fits our group (3 generations, lots of kids) well for sleeping and eating. Enjoyed the sleds and the hill and the bikes and hikes. Less snow than usual after a warm March, so we enjoyed new aspects of the area. We then got almost a foot over 2 days. Gloriously beautiful! Hosts always helpful "

"Beautiful lakefront property with incredible views. Super cozy. Beds were really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and Tor, our host, was very responsive and super helpful. We were eight minutes from Sugar Bowl! Loved this stay!"

"This is the best place we’ve stayed in Donner area so far! First, the property owner/manager, Jim is very nice and responsive. We had to reschedule our trip TIWCE due to the winter storm, and he accommodated new dates without any hesitation. Second, the property itself is exceptional; especially the breathtaking lake view, it’s just right in front of you. Lastly, it’s so convenient to access to ski resorts, like donner downhill, boreal, and soda springs is about 15 minutes drive. We stayed a few nights here and loved every minute. We’ll definitely come back again. "

"The house was wonderful and inviting. Very spacious for a couple of families. The location was great and easy to get around. "

"Host was very welcoming and communicative, cabin itself was perfect and wonderful price. The toaster was faulty and started smoking anytime we tried to use it, and additionally the fireplace wouldn't sustain a fire for us, despite having special firestarter kindling (we struck out two nights in a row despite great effort so gave up on the third night ). The good news is the central heating worked great, the cabin was very cozy and the host was very responsive anytime I reached out to communicate. Great customer service and we would definitely stay here again."
